This is just rationalizing cope. If the people who are really about it, they would stop rooting for the panthers regardless if we landed watson or not, period. I got no problem with people doing that.  But all this fake outrage while you still support the panthers who actively pursued this guy for over a year is just hypocrisy. And I honestly don’t care about that either if people would just stop guilt tripping others on some sort of moral high ground. I’ve stated why I was fine with this. Football is just entertainment for me. I leave morality for the real stakes.

I get that but you can hate Rhule and Tepper who will eventually go away and still be a fan of the team. The team will outlast either of them unless they sell and move to another city

So I did want Watson but now feel kinda relieved we didn’t give up all that. Also I want Rhule fired and Watson probably give him a couple years and just fug us up down the road anyway. By the way I don’t want Pickett or Willis, hell to the naw. Oh yeah my new motto for this year FireFhule2022

Marty and Ron sticking around too long with an aging roster and First hire being bad as most first hires for owners go.

I can excuse Tepper for the Rhule hire. What's not excusable is this Watson nonsense. He needs to get his nose out of the football side.

IT IS fuging CRAZY HOW THIS FRANCHISE WENT FROM SEMI-RESPECTABLE PRE TEPPER TO TOTAL fuging JOKE POST TEPPER.

fuging LOOOOOOOOOLLLLL

Lowest point in franchise history and it’s not even close. Back in the mid 90’s Snyder ruined my fandom for the Skins and now Tepper is doing it for me and the Panthers. I will sit out next season and hope he makes positive change…,if not, I’m done for good.

He played on a 4 million dollar contract last year and is better than anything we have. Draft a QB and give him a shot in the meantime. Costs no draft capital and can probably get him for 8-10m

If The Panthers are going to do something stupid they should just stay with Sam Darnold.

    • I dont think people realize how hard it is to find a consistent starting QB in the NFL. Byrce will not heart us to a SB but I do think he can manage to get us one or close..go all in on defense and change the Offensive passing game and play calls. I really think our biggest problem is our HC.  Take New Orleans QB for example, switch him and Bryce and I promise you it'll look similar or worse. New Orleans OC is levels ahead of Canales. And as far as the draft goes, in this division with as much rb talent as we face ..the answer...this guy:    Pick up a couple edge rushers in FA along with a corner and plug this guy in Rozeboom's spot. Defense solved. But only if we get a top tier rusher on that dline....jus saying
    • I think I'm going to the game in Los Angeles vs Paraguay, and the England / Croatia game here in Dallas since my mom is British.  For decent seats anywhere in the building(s) it looks like it will be upwards of $7k for the two games.  Insane. Just for perspective, you could buy field level EPL tickets for any one of the top sides in the league, and it would be 10% of the price you'll pay for crappy seats at the World Cup.
    • Meh… I knew this thread would turn into a Bryce/Tua comparison, when they couldn’t be further apart situations.   Dolphins catered there whole offense toward Tua, they brought in a coach that would run a Tua friendly offense, the went in got the best most explosive WR in the NFL and paired him the fastest WR in that years draft. Panthers have done the opposite, they went and got a Pete Carroll disciple who likes to run the ball under center, they drafted big slow WR who got little separation in college. Literally the polar opposite of Bryce’s scouting report coming out of Alabama.   Tua was a decent QB 2 years ago, but the concussions, lack of movement have caught up to him. He never had a great arm to begin with but now since he doesn’t want to get hit he’s taking the whole offense down with him.
