I understand that you don't want him (I'm iffy, myself), but let's not outright lie. This far, he's absolutely been top 10.

Sorry forgot about Lamar.  He's either 1st in Tier 3 or the last of tier 2.

BTW Tier 1 and 2 aren't in order.

It's you have Tier one then a drop before the next tier but the gap isn't nearly as big between 1 and 2 as 2 and 3.

Lamar Jackson has had a 3k yard passing season ONE TIME, has never been as accurate as Murray, and his playing style is WAY more dangerous than Murray. Kyler Murray is a top 10 QB. In 2-3 years he’s going to be top 5. If he’s available for trade we’d be dumb not to inquire.

Kyler might not want to play in 5 years plus like I said he's a Munchkin straight out of Oz.

Where is everyone getting this? He doesn’t want to play? Is there something out there about him going to play baseball bc why else would he quit football after Pat Mahomes just got a half-billion dollars?

Murray is basically the QB all the Cam haters said Cam was...

Lots of physical talent, very limited brain and will coast and arm & leg to acquire and pay.

Hard pass. The entire film room thing is a huge red flag and sure explains why all that talent equals such mediocre win totals at the end of the day. Dude is more like Dak than Cam.

There are Panthers fans who would be fine losing and being mediocre with someone like Sam Darnold who checks their personal boxes versus someone they label a "running QB" because they are stuck in the stone age of football or they harbor certain tendencies. This is the same song and dance from ten years ago. Sigh.

    • this     I never cease to be amazed at the number of people who will run up their blood pressure to get to the grocery store 30 seconds faster or are racing to get to work like it won’t be there at 8:02.   The only thing I’ve ever done that I think added more years to my life besides quitting smoking, was to learn to go with the flow behind the wheel.
    • The term you're looking for is "malinger(ed)", and he didn't.  I'm not sure why Panthers fans act like jaded ex girlfriends.  The dude is clearly injury prone as his time in San Fransico also proves. It's not like he got to San Fran and stopped having problems.
    • My long and rambling post:   The guy is all heart, and I wouldn’t be surprised if he came back even better next year. He’s exactly the guy you lock up. The money won’t ever change the way he plays.  It was a big fumble, but what 1,000 yard back fumbles once in an entire season?  Pride. This team is FINALLY seeing guys who obviously take the game very seriously. Hunt, Chuba, Thielen, Brown, Horn (CB), Coker, Bryce (IMHO). Bye bye, Spider-Man. I don’t see these dudes being OK with teammates half-assing practice or in games. I can see Brown and Horn coming over to talk to somebody.  Good team? Ummm, maybe, but will still likely lose more close games than they win unless this last draft turns in to LOB part 2. That’s a stretch.  Pretty good/decent team. Yes. They finished the season as a pretty good team. I know I sound like a broken record harping back to it, but going in to ATL and putting a 40 burger on them en route to an OT win. A bad Panthers team would have had their brakes beaten off. We’ve seen it.  Rose colored glasses on and bonging a 40 of hopium: There are watershed moments that occur that change the course of franchises, both good and bad. If Fox doesn’t pull Rodney at halftime, the epic journey that was 2003 never happens. On the negative side, Cam taking that one hit from Watt was the end of any and all Panthers relevancy and we’ve been the biggest losers in all of pro sports as a result. Watershed moments. LOB draft. Vinny goes down and the goat is born.  Will the ATL game be the spark that this franchise has desperately needed? Could it be that they hit the mega million jackpot with Princley and Scourton as eat QBs for breakfast? Sure would be nice having 2 all-pro edge guys on the cheap for the next 4 years.  A lot of unknowns, but at least it actually feels  fun again.
