Brady Christensen taking snaps at Center

If it works great. But the more spots they move BC around to the more I find myself circling back to that draft night video of our braintrust giving one another high fives for drafting their new left tackle. Let's just get this shuffling out of the way now.

Are they doubling down on not playing him where he's actually supposed to be?

Not likely, just seeing if he could learn to be a Center...and fill that role long term after this season.

Kicking Tires.

Why not, Bozeman and (most likely) Elflein are gone after this year. I think Mays will get a chance to practice at center also. The only thing Tecklenburg has going for him is where he played college ball.

Maybe just looking for that emergency Center. There was a game last year where we had guys on the sidelines practicing their snaps.

We only had 2 Centers last year. Maybe we are trying to hedge our bets so to speak?

Or maybe it's just OTAs, and they don't want any of our real Centers getting over worked?

    • I enjoyed reading this thread and the usual banter that follows. The only silver lining I can identify right now is we do actually have a couple of young QB's behind him and we do have a nice roster on both sides of the ball built around the most important position. So if the team overall shows some promise but we still falter largely due to a lack of consistent passing output (again) hopefully the decision makers can be free to make the best decision for the team going forward after the conclusion of this upcoming season.
    • I don't really follow the team anymore due to a variety of reasons and consequently have largely stopped posting but I agree that this is a lovely website and community. This forum probably kept me around for years longer than I would've stuck otherwise because of how difficult it was to stop checking multiple times a day. Especially appreciate how lax the moderation tends to be compared to a lot of places, the crew here does a great job. Out of curiousity I decided to try making a new account (solely for testing purposes) to see what exactly is wrong with the sign up process. The issue seems to be that it never sends you an account verification email, thus making it impossible to complete registration. This is likely something to do with the email server upstream, hope it gets fixed. Also, lol
    • Uh oh, Nicole Tepper hugged him. In all seriousness though every time I see more about him my hopes get higher. Smart, great attitude, prototype size and measurables, and athletic. He could be a great one.
