Now now don’t lose hope. Last time we started 1-3 with our 3rd loss being against the Cards, we finished 12-4..

I will say that a lot if the arguments we are saying now “we have so much talent with Luke and Cam, but it’s being wasted by inept Rivera and he needs to go”

We are saying similar things now. Again, I don’t think it will happen, but it’s fun playing devil’s advocate

Difference being, CAM.  Again, no other player can affect the outcome of games more than or as much as QBs.  They literally touch the ball every play they're out there, and Cam was a threat to run or throw a TD on every single play.  We don't have that now.  And honestly, as I've said repeatedly, this coaching staff would make any QB look like 1/10th of themselves.

No player, no team, nobody is overcoming this inept staff.  Nobody. It is impossible.

And if you are still holding onto hope that the coaches will miraculously figure it out, namely Rhule, after 3 years of not doing just that- go watch his presser post-game yesterday...  he has never been more dejected or defeated.  He couldn't even BS himself.  He had zero answers and absolutely no energy.  He's done.  We know it and he knows it.  Just a matter of time of when it becomes official...  and again, if he had any integrity he would've quit last season.  He pretty much acknowledged college teams have expressed interest...  so he is really trying to force Tepper to fire him at this point so he can get two paychecks.

Good times.

Was in 2013 and we went 12-4!! Chooo Choo mother fuggers, we going to the playoffs.  (Btw, fwiw yes that’s true, started 0-2, then 1-2, then 1-3 losing to the cardinals then en route to our 12-4 record that year.)

My friend... I love your enthusiasm, but I would say in the future get your drugs from a reputable dealer.😉

Bingo.  We're a car without an engine at this point.  We aren't going to "get it together" against one of the best defenses in the league.  Not sure our offense scores more than 10 on Sunday.

    • I was playing around with the ESPN playoff predictor and it shows if 49ers and Rams finish with same record, the Rams hold the tiebreaker.
    • This is my thinking as well. Seattle played as good as they could on defense and Panthers still had a chance until those back to back turnovers.  I don't think the Rams played particularly well in their game against us, alot things went our way in order to win.  Someone pointed out the Rams were bad on the east coast road games and Seattle has been the better road team but they just fought a hard contested game against the Panthers, and now they travel to San Fran this week for their biggest game of the season to determine the division and if they are the overall #1 seed in the NFC or will be traveling for the Wildcard weekend.  If they lose they then travel back cross the country to play a team they've just beaten two weeks ago, not saying they won't be favored against the Panthers but the energy of hosting our first playoff game in 10 years along with the get back effect of having just lost to this team could be huge.
    • I don’t know about shadowing and all that, but according to this, whatever we are doing is working
