as of right now do you want wilks as the HC next year

Decent guy and all and is actually an nfl quality coach compared to Rhule but I think it’s that comparison that skews the viewpoint. Compared to what Rhule was and all his stupid ass antics he looks like an option moving forward but compared to other decent nfl coaches ehhh we can do better.

I am fine with Wilkes. I don’t know what happened in Phoenix but he probably learned a lot.

I’d like to be able to criticize him without being called a racist though. Otherwise give me a white guy I can freely complain about when he earns it.

No because I think he's going to ride PJ all season but PJ is wildly inaccurate and will miss throws that will lose us some games

Nope. 

Too much like Rivera for me. Very likable guy that you root for, gets the players keyed in, but too conservative and I don't see him being much more than a mediocre coach that keeps us in the 9-8 -> 10-7 range. 

I'm pulling for him to succeed but do not want for our HC. I think he got a raw deal in AZ too. Doubt he would stay on for DC under a new regime, but I wouldn't be against it.

I would honestly keep him on as a DC/AHC role and keep Al Holcomb as LBers Coach... Especially if they bring in a guy like Dorsey but, of course, that would depend on Wilks actually willing to stay on if he does no get the job.

I wouldn't mind him staying on as the DC.  I'm over defensive minded HC, however.  With a 99.9% chance we are drafting a QB, Wilks isn't that dude to develop him.
