DJ Moore should not have been penalized for helmet removal

And for the “I want to win the NFC south with a below .500 record” crowd

This team still controls their own destiny. If they can win in Cincy they’ll throttle Atlanta at home and we’ll be right back in it

Lol Burrow is gonna pick us apart even without Chase.

there’s nothing tepper can do, he owes the league for conspiring to force the sale to him

it doesn’t matter how many games the league steals, he’s got to sit there silently and take it like a good little yes man

may as well find a new desktop ornament, dave

Basically.  And Jerry was a "shield first" type guy so he always let things go for the league.

Shouldn't have been a penalty, but DJ knew better. He put it in the refs hands and he immediately knew he made a mistake.

But... DJ is the least "look at me" WR in the NFL. Game winning catch after the 3rd down drop in the previous drive was redemption and no one should be blaming a man for showing emotion in the most emotional game in the world right now. The team had his back and got in position to win again. Pineiro's chip shot miss took the wind out of everyone. They were tired, depleted and demoralized after that.

considering what he had just pulled off grabbing that TD at that moment...it's to be expected that there be a bit of a celebration. of course the game wasn't over, but still he kept us in it when we thought we were out of it. that was a pretty exciting moment for me and i was just sitting in my recliner. couldn't imagine being the guy that caught it and one of the guys on the team. how long has it been since we'd had one of those moments?

the good thing is i know now that we have players that can perform in clutch moments. i just wish we had a kicker that could.

Cam last year was clearly out of bounds but he was flagged.

Im wondering if DJ came back into the end zone and that’s why they flagged it because it took a long time for that flag to show up I was sure it was an unsportsmanlike conduction celebration penalty not a removal of helmet.

Either way the refs were looking for anything to throw a flag on.

Yea I didn’t mention the Cam one when it was mentioned earlier because I couldn’t remember where he was. If so, that was an erroneous penalty too. Goes to show the only two times it was called that way when they weren’t on the field of play was against the Panthers…

    • well i could go on & on but i will just highlight it by saying big difference trust me from the SEC & NFL.it's honestly like comparing apples & oranges especially when you are talking about a  LT. in the NFL you are going up against the most athletic freaks of nature the world has to offer . .the NFL also has much more exotic & complicated defensive schemes than what they are used to seeing at Georgis &  finally but most importantly you have to learn how to master complex bio mechanics where the body kick steps instantly as a reaction to these world class athletes rush without really making a conscious effort it's more of a learned muscle memory  & it can take thousands upon thousands of reps to master rproper technique for a LT in the NFL especially if you are still very raw like Monroe Freeling is    ...just saying
    • All that being the case or maybe being the case, we do not know Wharton’s timetable n the first place. They are being coy about it. Or maybe not. They say week to week the board says he is terminal lol and must be replaced. Who knows? It may or may not warrant a fairly drastic solution.  Walker is a bargain and we are not well stocked at OL despite recent investments. Freeling has yet to have a single padded practice. Too much speculation driving this plan IMO.
    • I would really love to know who’s actually making these moves because it’s weirdly vague who’s doing the hiring and firing.
