He's honestly in the place he needs to be. Most college HC don't translate to the NFL.

Some people just like to present as morally superior. There’s plenty to judge. He wasn’t just a bad coach, he shat on the franchise and whatever culture was there, and like you said he took vacations when he should have been working his tail off. I’m not happy for him, but I’m not mad or anything since idgaf about Nebraska, it’s just whatever. Ron Rivera is a good example of somebody you can be happy for even though he wasn’t the best coach for us because of the man that he is. Matt Rhule, not so much.

I blame Tepper for making  Rhule the Panthers head coach, even though common sense should have told him it was not a good fit.

For the sake of Nebraska and their fanbase, i hope Rhule has success as their new head coach..

I hope he turns it around and wants another shot at the NFL in 5-7 years. And that hopefully New Orleans or Atlanta will be interested.

Not quite what's going to happen according to everything being reported today. Panthers will pay his first full year of Salary at Nebraska at least, if not more. 

 

Nebraska also had to reach an agreement with Carolina as well

He isn't a good guy or coach so I hope it's painfully hilarious for him after what he did here. Doing it at Nebraska kind of makes it all the funnier to me.
