Predictions: Panthers at Bucs

When your o-line is stronger than another teams d-line, then it's going to be the same the second time you play them that season barring injuries. We'll be able to run on the Bucs like we ran it on them last time. Nothing changed. Strength is strength, it didn't disappear. They aren't suddenly going to be stronger.

The main deciding factor is Brady. Will he make the big plays down field or not? If he doesn't, then we run our way to victory.

This will come down to the QBs and 3rd down defense.  The Bucs will stop our run at all costs and dare Darnold to bet them.  We will attempt to make the Bucs one-faceted and yes, make Brady win the game.  That said, we had better have a lot of quick route concepts if the Bucs stymie our run game.  Our pass rush MUST help out our secondary.  If Brady has time, he will pick apart out depleted corners.

Knowing the Panthers, we'll win this game and then lose the following week to the Saints lol

Lol yup

The saints will be out of the playoffs and even have players with some key injuries who are resting and we’ll blow it lol

It’s such an urge to be pessimistic so I won’t be disappointed heheh

We are either going to blow them out 2014 Atlanta style or the refs are going to push them over the finish line at the end.

Scenario 1: Car 33 TB-14

Scenario 2: TB 20 Car-17

Scenario 2 will almost convince me that then NFL wants him in the Playoffs 1 more time.

Only thing that gives me hope for scenario 1 is that we have the momentum and they struggled with a Cardinals team on their 3rd string QB.

They also took off until Tomorrow and Wilks brought everyone back Monday.

    • I love that. He could be a good one.
    • The biggest part of being a gunslinger isn't just massive arm strength, it's a fearlessness. Brett Favre is of course the best known one, and he's legendary for all of those touchdowns... and the record number of interceptions that came with them. But he was fearless and went down shooting no matter the situation. We had that in Jake Delhomme, too. Cam, definitely not a gunslinger. Had the arm strength (Lord he had a cannon for an arm), but his fearlessness allowed him to become an incredible runner as well. He didn't have to stand there in the street at high noon and just let the lead fly. Bryce... not sure he can become a gunslinger or if he's just a technician (that's not a bad thing, look at Joe Montana or Drew Brees), but he has to conquer that fear. He seemed to do that after those first two bad, bad, bad series. Can he make it happen from the start next week? I hope so for the kid. Would love for him to get it all together and make something happen. If that means he's our franchise QB, as long as he's winning he'll get my support.
    • I got my conspiracy theory about the XL and Brooks picks.   Not going there today but will say I absolutely hated shorting the defense in yet another draft and FA that year. We paid for it too.
