Official Panthers at Bucs GameDay Thread!

We've got to be smarter in the second half. Common sense things like Taylor on Evens on an island with a month to throw is just unacceptable from the coaches. We all know Taylor is bad. Taylor knows Taylor is bad. That was 100% on the coaches. Setting up our players to fail. Can't have that in the second half.

Just now, Randolph Panther said:

We were heading down to go up three fuging scores. I have never seen a team that trips over there own dick more than the Panthers

When you have a coach that is too big of a coward to go for it on 4th and 1, the team loses confidence in him. It shows he doesn’t believe you can get those yards. When you play against Tom Brady, you restrict as many possessions as possible. Wilks should understand that and the fact he doesn’t means he can go.

The Panthers should be down by 3 scores by as many mistakes they made. The ball literally bounced their way multiple times. That is so rare for this cursed franchise. The universe has realized, this is the retard Panthers, why are they getting any luck? Beat down by the Bucs incoming in the 2nd half. Multiple Darnold INTs and horrific pass defense. Get ready.

it almost feels like this franchise is seeing if Sam can do it. We are not even attempting to run the ball.

As they should lol, i mean come on this is a guy we couldn't wait to get rid of just a month ago now all of a sudden he is the solution? It dont work like that, you have to lockdown the qb position for the future, nobody wants to go on this stop gap crap at the end of the day. You gotta see what he is really made of if you going stick with him.

    • Coker has certainly earned it. Good for him.
    • I don't think we don't call things aggressively, for a Canales offense, anyway. We don't have a QB who makes aggressive throws nor stresses defenses downfield. He is at a career low on 20+ attempts per game and his career 10-20 QB rating is abysmal.  That will always be a limiting factor IF you are looking for a high flying, downfield offense. I am not even that concerned about it, I just want to see effective offense and we decidedly do not possess that. A large chunk of that is Bryce. I think the second biggest chunk is Canales. All the other components(XL included) are fairly minor in comparison to those two things. I am an advocate of attempting to improve at QB. I am not focused on finding "The QB." We failed at that with Bryce. So let's just get better. If that's a one year vet or a draftee or a cheap trade or some combination of any/all, we should do that. We have to get that QB better. Bryce will fail in 2026 and we need to have REALISTIC options to take over when that happens. That ain't Andy Dalton or Hendon Hooker or Jack Plummer or Mike White or....you get the picture. Be serious about hedging that Bryce bet and not just having to make do if he struggles or gets injured.  My mind is definitely made up on Canales. It's year two and he hasn't improved much, nor do I think the bones of a good HC are there. Ron Rivera got to that point after two seasons and he was open about the changes he had to make and advice he got to make that leap in year 3. If we don't see the same after next year, how is he not just Brian Daboll?
    • Not really buying it because T-mac faces stiffer competition week in and week out.
