Whomever this announcer is, he understands that the WR's aren't getting open.

because they aren't.  Moore is our only threat deep and teams know it.  Shenault can move the ball but he needs the ball in space to get moving. TMJ is a disappointment.  Teams know the routes we're running.

Brady was awful in a lot of ways but his play design had moments of brilliance (and a lot of terrible calls, lol).  Nothing like that from McAdoo.

Getting receivers open is as much on the OC as it is the receivers themselves. NO’s secondary is really good and McAdoo’s plays are pretty poor overall.  I’d bet just about anything the three guys you mentioned will shine with a good OC and QB

    • Care to elaborate why you disagree? We kicked the ball off 3 times and we kept the Browns to starting field position of the 22, 27, and 10 (would have been 21 before a penalty). All 3 of those are successes with the modern kickoff rule.
    • Its August so obviously quality options are not there. The question is whether any improvement can be made to the bottom of the depth chart.
    • NFL has a huge amount of parity.  The talent level between most NFL starters outside of the top 5 to 10 guys at a position is very comparable.  2020 worst teams Jacksonville Jaguars - 1-15 (worst record in NFL) New York Jets - 2-14 Cincinnati Bengals - 4-11-1 Atlanta Falcons - 4-12 Houston Texans - 4-12 Carolina Panthers - 5-11 Detroit Lions - 5-11 Philadelphia Eagles - 4-11-1 Los Angeles Chargers - 7-9 Denver Broncos - 5-11 2024 Worst teams New York Giants - 3-14 (tied for worst) Cleveland Browns - 3-14 (tied for worst) Tennessee Titans - 3-14 (tied for worst) New England Patriots - 4-13 Carolina Panthers - 5-12 Jacksonville Jaguars - 4-13 Las Vegas Raiders - 4-13 New York Jets - 5-12 Chicago Bears - 5-12 Arizona Cardinals - 8-9 Bengals, Texans, Lions, Eagles, Broncos and the Jags have all made the the playoffs in the last 3 years. What I'm saying is it's stupid to argue when team is the worst when there is so much parity and the system allows quick turnarounds.
