I would be indifferent to the trade honestly. Unless we’re landing a 3-down guy somehow via trade, edge rusher is a huge hole that has a trickle effect when bad/good. Critical position, so if we think there’s a legit immediate starter talent then it is tempting. Gut says to stand pat and target an ILB if value aligns. But I have a strong inkling that and OL are getting addressed at minimum FA. Problem is, edge rusher is sparse as hell in FA. If Bain is within reach, I wouldn’t be mad. But I always prefer an even pick package swap. IE send a 1st, 3rd, gain a higher 1st, 5th type thing. -
The Hornets should have been more aggressive about the Center position at the trade deadline. Instead we're making moves like giving Connaughton another contract. -
One of the victims is the cop. How are they going to blame him? Again, this isn't a he-said, she-said situation. He assaulted a professional athlete and a police officer. And all of it is on camera. There is only so much an attorney can do when the evidence is on tape.
