April 6?? I thought Bama pro day was day after ohio st. And is this guy secretly hurt or something??? He is waiting a long time to get evaluated.

Bama and OSU pro days are next week. However, Alabama has a second pro day on 4.6.23.

Theories around the NFL social media platforms is that Bryce is doing his on the 2nd pro day bc of other schools having their pro days on the same day. ie Kentucky.

Sounds like Bryce's agent wants to have the biggest pro day in bama history by avoiding scheduling conflicts.

I'm telling you, recency bias is a thing, if the throws late, all the conversation for the week after is on his performance. It's a smart play.

Technically speaking the Panthers don't have to wait to see him workout if they REALLY want him or any of the rest of the QBs to.  The player may not love the request, but the Panthers own the #1 pick.

The Steelers released Devin Bush and Myles Jack, both formerly regarded as highly talented LBs.

Would one of them be valuable for us, since LB is a position where we need enforcement?

I don't know if they would be too expensive and I don't know enough about scheme fit.. Just a fan from Germany, thinking they could be worth a shot for the right price.

I'd have said yes before we signed Von Bell

But that means the plan is to move Chinn back to LB, along with Burns, Shaq, and Luvu we don't have any place for another starting LB like either of them.

I’m thinking we’re gonna re-sign Cory Littleton eventually

    • Yuck.  I still kind of like Herbert but these playoff performances are rough....
    • I feel like this was the case with River and McDermott defenses as well, we just had the jimmies and the joes to overcome these deficiencies with all pro players at edge and linebacker positions.  Even then, was extremely frustrated in 2015 when we'd let team come back from 20+ pt deficits playing prevent only to barely win at the end.
    • We need to move on soon and just use Bryce as a bridge to find our next guy. I'd like to see how this offense works with Canales hand picking his own guy. Bryce holds this offense back a lot considering you draft the first pick to carry your team and be your best player. We invested heavily for Bryce and need everything to go right just to have him look like a solid game manager sometimes. When he plays well he can look decent or mid, but when he plays bad he looks like a bottom 5 qb in league (backups included). It's not worth it, especially if we need to pay him soon, which means we have to skimp all over the roster. If the defenses don't hand it to us on a silver platter Atlanta style then we struggle big time. Defenses don't respect the offense at all. With Cam we could have the worst offensive talent and I'd still think we had a shot in any game we played. If Bryce is facing a 3rd and 10 I pretty much wave the white flag and don't think we can make that first down.
