just for reference Drew Brees is the most accurate passer in the history of the nfl so thats quite the comparison

And To think that Bryce is better than Brees at this stage of their career 🤯

sky is the limit for Bryce.

He's still going to have to find some way to bulk up and we are going to have to continue to beef up the oline as much as the cap will permit. He is going to get hit a lot the first few seasons but the sense I get from some folks is we just aren't going to need to worry about it. Wrong. Do not be fooled. Our oline is still very much a work in progress.

The offensive line really came together last year after Bozeman was inserted in the starting lineup. We were very fortunate not to sustain any major injuries from that point on. I have concerns about quality depth. Injuries on the offensive line and lack of OL quality depth are not what a rookie quarterback who is a franchise player needs to deal with. I feel good about Cade Mays from what I have seen, but after him I am not sure who we have that is a quality replacement.

I have more confidence that he can bulk up 10-15 pounds than any QB develop the pocket awareness and processing to a guy his level and other highly rated NFL QBs

And for the LoOk WhAt HaPpEnEd To TuA!!

Tua is thicker and 3 pounds heavier than CJ Stroud.

Stroud has the frame to put NFL weight on (if they want to do that to him, which I assume they do). Young doesn't, nor does Tua.

Glad you are quite the expert on frames.

Bryce has plenty ability to add Weight.  If you think that Kyler can get to the weight he is.  As is Russ, but Bryce can’t.  Then you are clueless or just hate the kid that much to where you have some narrative

    • CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Carolina Panthers coach Dave Canales said Friday that starters will play in the first two preseason games, stopping just short of admitting he made a mistake last season holding them out. The plan includes playing quarterback Bryce Young, who got off to a historically bad start to the 2024 regular season that got him benched after opening 0-2. Carolina opens their preseason schedule Friday at home against Cleveland, followed by an August 15 road game at Houston and August 21 home game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.   Canales said he will evaluate after the first two games whether starters will play in the third game. "Kind of going through it last year, we had a mix of veteran players, but [this is] predominantly a pretty young team,'' said Canales, who has at least six new starters to the defense that was the worst in the league a year ago. "I just can't pass up the opportunities. The reps in games are valuable. "[But] it goes to the night before, when guys know they're going to go out there, they've got to make a decision to play football. So it starts the night before with the prep. You start thinking about your plan, taking care of your body, making sure you get your rest.''   https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/45880676/panthers-starters-play-first-2-preseason-games-says-coach
    • You call the Cowboys purely for information, but we don't have the assets to pull off any realistic trade. Also, even if they would consider any trade, it's more likely they want to do it with an AFC team.
