You’re not finding a number 1 Wr in this draft especially with the 2nd round pick.. Maybe 1 develops but it won’t happen this year.. This is a weak class with most of the talented guy being slot guys and then they will be picked in the 1st round.. So let that dream go.. Or hope that TMJ takes advantage of his opportunity..

I was saying find a #1WR in free agency, and the mother of all draft decisions is the QB we take.

true, just the panthers had two wide open holes at WR. adam has played at a high level for 7 or so years. I see this as a positive all around, he should also spilt 70/30 with TMJ for snaps as well.

Stroud is known for ball placement and adam is know for getting open at certain grassy spots. Plus hes not a ball dropper ala moore and anderson. Much welcomed to have with a rookie QB.

Makes sense if Stroud is the pick. He’s a Stroud type WR.

He is not seeing year 3 and he's not seeing all $25 million.

Year 3 is most likely a year where we can dump him with limited cap hit. He is guaranteed 14 million, he will probably get ~16-18 million when all is said and done.

This is not a bad contract for a #2 WR at all. Especially when we gave Robb(y/ie) Anderson 12 Million per year to do jack poo but drop passes and throw fits the past two seasons.

This is perfectly fine and won't screw us in the long term.

At $12M per year, we were paying for dropped balls and a cancer in the locker room and sidelines.  Runs crisp routes, sure handed, a red zone magnet and a good locker room presence for younger players; what’s not to like?

Some of you will complain when the sun comes up in the morning.

Theilen has more TDs (30) in the last 3 seasons than Robb(y/ie)/Chosen Anderson does in his entire career.

Or if it goes down

We’re in absolutely no position to start using void years into 26-27.

Unfortunately for us if Fitterer isn’t winning by then he’ll be come and those years won’t be his problem

I was going to ask; how many players are we using that void years method on? Are these even players you should be using that method on?

I believe Thielen has been the only one so far this year. We used void years with Reddick

Thielen, Hurst, Bell, Tuttle all have roughly 10 mill cap hits next year and can’t exactly be cut to save anything. These definitely aren’t guys you want to be restructuring
