Still a chance that Houston decides to go for Young and makes a trade. Small chance but still there.

Also a few want AR over Young.  So 75/25 sounds right.

AR killed it in meetings with teams, if his tape was a little bit more consistent, he'd be the pick imo.

I had read he scored really well on the S2 too. I seriously think we can’t go wrong with either pick.

Honest question, not trying to stir the pot, but when I read people watching film and giving grades.. Do any of them know what they're even looking at? I know a lot of people give PFF poo for their grades and they watch film for a living.

When i watch film i look for flaws even in the successful plays. And i see that a lot with Bryce, people just like to preach the result but bad habits dont just translate to the Pros.

Starting to agree with those who think we need just one merged megathread instead of a new thread every time someone else tweets that they think Bryce Young is the pick.

One note regarding Jones: I've long been of the belief that he was the one who ultimately started the SI investigation into Jerry Richardson but wisely chose to remain behind the scenes.

Hopefully, but then the clicks drastically decrease.

I hope Young wins a few Lombardies here and proves all the doubters wrong.

That's what I wished for for Cam, he definitely proved his doubters wrong, he just fell short of eternal glory , thanks in large part to the NFLs gift to footballs most entitled family, and it's a shame he never got another shot before his shoulder was completely shot , either way he will always be a winner in my eyes

And also I hope whoever we draft this year(not 100% sure it's Bryce) brings us to the glory we have all been waiting for , and proves there worth has a player

Am I weird in listening to Young speak it seems like he has very minimal chance of being a bust? Just seems like he has IT. That, combined with our amazing hit on first rounders, has got me excited for September immensely.

I agree, he does seem to have IT. personality-wise and that on the field magic.

seems like exactly the kind of guy the NFL, ESPN, Disney, wants to be a face of the league.

It'll be nice having the NFL script writers on our side for once.

Smh. These people are friggin crazy. If Bryce wanted to go into professional wrestling they'd be all over it.

Such are the times we live in. Unrecognizable.

Truth is a lie, less is more, football brain beats football brawn, up is down, short is tall enough.

Smh.

Yep, and he'd literally be the only NFC QB worth watching other than Dak and Hurts. If Young is drafted I would expect Carolina to actually be on TV the maximum number of times, and a lot of 4pm starts on Fox. If Stroud ends up on an AFC South team, NBC would want that game on SNF.

Relevance. We might have to get used to it again, except this time it won't be "yeah, but" like it was with Cam.

    • Yeah I hear you man but this is not a litmus test for OUR character. All the sucking it up in the world won’t affect anything about that football team and the issue of a failed draft deal.  The point is would you want to go back to that steakhouse? I mean, no you probably don’t. I don’t have to suck that up. I am free to lobby and critique as it moves me, same as you. I am saying I don’t the team to go back to a crappy steakhouse lol.
    • Dealing with the now and building a foundation to build a future upon would have been a great sign of change and a serious attempt to turn this thing around. Those guys that were all fired were also pitching the future. Rhule's 7 year plan and last year's platoff team while taking a still weak NFCS were just more of the same. You already answered you own question. 2 win teams don't usually develop projects well, stable and well run teams do. That is not close to the Panthers at this time. The future doesn't matter if it looks like the recent past for them.
    • Honestly I think you are more sensitive to other people’s opinions a little more than I am in the sense that the lack of a tie and the disciplining that resulted didn’t make me think much besides someone was being an asshole. And I don’t care if other people don’t think that; it won’t really change how I view it. They are free to think it. WTF does CMC have to do with it? I am sorry I don’t get it.  And I don’t see people talking about Darnold vs Cam the way you say. I really just think you might be looking and waiting for a chance to be taking some umbrage with stuff that seems to me is really fairly isolated and not reflective of how most of us think. Maybe you think we think that way? No offense really, I am just not seeing what you are seeing. If I say a criticism of a player I promise it is not motivated by some agenda other than football ands winning. Or losing wtf it is the Panthers. If that changes I will for sure preface what I say with my reasons for saying it.  And I know what saying this stuff may lead to in terms of characterization language but I hope it doesn’t.
