Something a bit more casual and positive, what is everyone doing for the draft? Hanging with friends? By yourself? Watching the entire thing? Just a couple picks? Just Carolinas?

As for myself, me and the hubby are going to order a pizza and watch the entire draft together(Or until our old asses have to sleep), with the kids hanging out as well before they get bored.

I'll be sitting by my phone, waiting for the call that some team sees the wisdom in drafting a 61-year old, slow, out of shape prospect.  Of course, when it rings, it will be some recording trying to sell me an extended car warranty.

I doubt that I even watch it, although I will have a draft site on my computer to see who is going where.  Jeopardy is on at that same time out here, and I'm sure my wife would rather watch that.  Just a hunch, though.

I somehow have a joint wedding planner+photographer+caterer call at 8:30-9:30 ET that my fiance will be running.  I'm like c'mon! Apparently I had a chance to change it and forgot it was on the calendar. Draft will be behind the laptop zoom on the TV muted and I'll have the Athletic live pod in one ear with a beer lol

    • How many elite QBs do we have right now in the league? And how elite are they, really? Mahomes - I seriously doubt anyone would say otherwise. My only counterpoint is that since Tyreek left, he has not been as explosive. Only one with a ring. Allen - Yes. His first year was rough, however, and even now, he's a turnover machine which has cost his team games. Wouldn't surprise me if he regresses as talent around him goes elsewhere. Burrow - Can say he got to a Super Bowl but injuries may be a concern. All those sacks he took may be coming back to bite the Bengals. Jackson/Prescott - Can't win in the playoffs even with rosters around them, so no. So there you go. At least in my eyes, there's only maybe 3 right now. And over the past 10 years, QBs not Mahomes/Brady that have won were (noodle arm) Manning, Nick Foles and Matthew Stafford. Even Stafford I'd argue was a one-shot because the Rams absolutely went all-in with talent.
    • Without Guentzel, the team has a better chance of being able to keep Jarvy long term, Noesen for another 2-3 years, Drury and Turbo maybe. And I'm saying that because I think Jarvis will make us forget about Guentzel.
