Lot of scouts had Richardson #1, CJ #2 and Young #3.

I'll also add that if Young was 6-2 or taller and weighed 230ish, that wouldn't be the case. He'd be a clear cut #1 most years with prototype size

Maybe on madden.

But in the NFL.  Little to none did.

All of those receivers have had locker room episodes, sidelines eruptions, or cussed out their QB in front of the team.

The definition of diva is subjective, but the behaviors all of the above have shown… are diva like in my opinion.

I do think the diva WR era is a recognizable era/window in the NFL.   I could see it returning though.  Especially as the league continues to become a passing league, social media, personal brand building etc.

I was pretty sure Anderson was going to be drafted early, but I agree with Simms that Anderson isn't as good of a prospect as he was built up to be.  I think if the Cardinals scheme him to the QB he will put up good numbers.  But if they expect him to beat tackles on his own week in and week out, they are going to be disappointed.

I disagree. At least USC had Carson Palmer who actually had a pretty good career. Sure he’s not a HOFer, but he had 10+ year career in the NFL as a starter. Ohio State hasn’t produced a QB of that caliber AT ALL, in any round.

Either way, it’s pretty interesting to have two power house schools like that who practically never produce any NFL talent at the QB position.

Palmer was decent but Leinart, Sanchez and Darnold have been terrible and were all drafted higher. Jury is still out on Fields, so he and Palmer potentially cancel each other out.

Chris Simms had Zach Wilson ahead of Trevor Lawrence.  Mond ahead of Fields.

Simms has always embraced throwing rankings out meant to generate clicks

Exactly.  Did you see his edge rankings for this draft?  He entirely throws stuff out there to get attention.   Anyone who thinks AR is going to be a better qb than Young this coming season are probably pushing for clicks

I’m not mad at all. It’s just a silly thing to say. It’s serves zero relevance to actuality and it’s assumption that can’t be validated.

Somebody said Bryce was the #1 QB in college. I pointed out Williams was better. So it was relevant to the conversation.

Tom Brady cussed out his teammates and refs his entire career.

Nobody called him a diva.

So you basically think most of the players in the NFL are divas because those actions happen every day. It's football bro did you not play in high school?

we dont have to see eye to eye here.... and MANY people called Brady a diva..

Relax.

    • He's going way overboard. I mean, men talk this way all the time. Bryce seems like a fine young man. But he's been piss poor at his job. I wish that I could be piss poor at mine---wait, no I don't---and get paid millions.  The thing is, I've supported Bryce in the past, but he doesn't seem to be the type of QB that what I've heard Chris Canry refer to as a "force multiplier." He can't make good players great, he needs great players to make him good. He's not going to pull out a win when times get tough (at least he hasn't), but he becomes good when there is essentially nothing to play for. After trying to give Bryce the benefit of the doubt, and waiting for the light switch to stay on, I'm tired of waiting. I've seen what I need to see, and it ain't pretty. So excuse me for calling Bryce, "pussified" for not being more aggressive in his pursuit of down field plays. He appears to just not have it in him. I'm sorry, Bryce and all Bryce Stans. He's still got to go though.
    • Yeah me too. We should have taken him. He was a much better bet than most of what you find that far down. He might have been 5 stars coming out of high school, I don’t know. Just that he was highly thought of. His college career didn’t get off to a great start and he ended up on a bad team with bad protection. But you could watch him and see what he had. I don’t see a way he doesn’t have a long career as a #2, at worst.
    • For the record @AceBoogie, I was referring to his unwillingness to push the ball down the damned field. My bad. He just has a problem seeing the field.
