Great counter argument.  I stand corrected with this new data you have presented.  It took one game for you to try to declare him a bust?  I expected better...

Didn’t say he was a bust just that his arm is weak and he lacks zip and accuracy on deep throws

i have no idea what you are talking about.. nor do I care - haha. I dont think you meant to quote me.

He is trying to say Young doesn't have a NFL arm.  Typical Huddler overreacting to a game.  Young is a bust we should have drafted AR (who left hurt) yada yada yada....

They're not though. They suck.

I don't know that the Panthers are a top-31 team in terms of talent. Most of the good players were traded away, and their replacements are not very good. Coaching-wise, the calls were largely poor today, and the QB could've benefited from some wide receiver separation -- but looking at who he's throwing to, there just wasn't much. He missed some throws, as every rookie does, and he made some poor decisions.

But by and large, my biggest gripes are with Reich's decision-making, and having to throw the ball away over and over because nobody's open.

You said he doesn't have an NFL arm.  A QB without a "NFL arm" drafted at 1 would be considered a bust.  He may not have an elite arm, but it is more than enough for the NFL.

    • Watching this you could already tell the OC/staff had changed from '23 to '24. The playcalling looks much better. Makes me wonder what concepts Canales will build on. I can already imagine the slants being dialed up.  He also looks faster here. His burst is more evident  ..that ankle could have definitely been a lingering situation.   And the crazy thing is, his hands, ball skills and hips are so good he probably could have played both ways at Arizona. He was impressive with it at Servite. I actually like his db clips more than his wr ones in high school.
    • Burns contract with Colorado is a base of 1m with 3m in incentives.
    • Hertl might still be a possiblity.  Vegas is going after Rasmus Andersson and would need to shed salary to make it happen.
