Dream scenario for me...

Burns goes on a sack spree and ends up as the sack leader in the NFL. We pay him 35mil a year in the off-season and the huddle has a meltdown.

Don't poo me guys just my own little scenario I would love to see for personal reasons.

Hey, if you got a 1/4 of a sack for blowing by the QB without even laying a finger on him Burns might already have the career NFL sack record at 25 years old. He'd be the GOAT!

Don't forget completely whiffing on tackles in the backfield counting for half of a TFL!!

He whiffs a lot. I'm not even talking missed tackles. Just straight up blow bys. He's gotta learn how to see the ball and throttle down. He just comes blasting through like a bottle rocket at breakneck straightline speed and he either smashed into the ball carrier or he doesn't.

If we can figure out why our offensive line fell off a cliff since last season, maybe. Oh and Chuba Hubbard needs to start full time.

I think they figured that out today. Pretty sure Sanders last snap was when he ran into his blockers back and fell (again).

    • Care to elaborate why you disagree? We kicked the ball off 3 times and we kept the Browns to starting field position of the 22, 27, and 10 (would have been 21 before a penalty). All 3 of those are successes with the modern kickoff rule.
    • Its August so obviously quality options are not there. The question is whether any improvement can be made to the bottom of the depth chart.
    • NFL has a huge amount of parity.  The talent level between most NFL starters outside of the top 5 to 10 guys at a position is very comparable.  2020 worst teams Jacksonville Jaguars - 1-15 (worst record in NFL) New York Jets - 2-14 Cincinnati Bengals - 4-11-1 Atlanta Falcons - 4-12 Houston Texans - 4-12 Carolina Panthers - 5-11 Detroit Lions - 5-11 Philadelphia Eagles - 4-11-1 Los Angeles Chargers - 7-9 Denver Broncos - 5-11 2024 Worst teams New York Giants - 3-14 (tied for worst) Cleveland Browns - 3-14 (tied for worst) Tennessee Titans - 3-14 (tied for worst) New England Patriots - 4-13 Carolina Panthers - 5-12 Jacksonville Jaguars - 4-13 Las Vegas Raiders - 4-13 New York Jets - 5-12 Chicago Bears - 5-12 Arizona Cardinals - 8-9 Bengals, Texans, Lions, Eagles, Broncos and the Jags have all made the the playoffs in the last 3 years. What I'm saying is it's stupid to argue when team is the worst when there is so much parity and the system allows quick turnarounds.
