Thought as to why frank may get canned monday

Prior to rhule getting canned after the niner game last year, it was all over X-Twitter how much red was in the stadium, thus embarrassing him and hurting his ego. Now i don't think its the right move right now (which makes sense for douchebag), but the best bet is for cowboy invasion tomorrow to go viral and make him and nicole look bad. If that happens he will yank the chord guaranteed. If he wants to do that and keep evero for next season go ahead. Youre just not going to find a suitor (on top of the fact no one wants to work for you) without having a number 1 pick. Money dont win titles. Im skipping tomorrow anyways

Not keeping Reich until next season would set the franchise even further back.

Nobody good enough is going to come here, so we're either going to end up with another sub-par coach for multiple years or be the team that fires their coach 3 straight seasons and hope to get lucky on making the right hire then.

Best bet is to bring him back, fire him after the first 4-6 games when we're terrible because Bryce isn't a good QB.

Then we end up with a Top 3 pick that a new coach can come in and draft a new QB to bet their career on instead of Bryce.

David and Nicole are good at that

I mean if you start the season 1-9 after trading 5 premium players for your QB you surely expect to get fired, right?

New Flash.

 “No. 1: Chicago → Carolina (PD). Chicago traded a first-round selection (1st) to Carolina in exchange for WR D. J. Moore, first- and second-round selections (9th and 61st), 2024 first-round and 2025 second-round selections.[Trade 1]”

We don’t have a first next year either. This is why trading up in the first is the dumbest poo ever. No ability to build depth.

Frank’s offense is as interesting as ambien. Great guy but should have never been rehired

This offense is making Young’s life a living hell. Which is good enough reason for him to be fired yesterday

Only problem is they’re obviously not going to make any drastic changes at this point in the season to the offense whether Frank is here or not

We don’t have a 2nd rounder next year, but we do have our 1st.

I don’t agree with this. If Frank’s offense and Fitt’s roster share part of the blame for Young’s struggles we should at least see how he looks under another coach. Even promote from within since this staff was all in on Young. Give whomever it is the rest of this season and the next.
People like to say coaches won’t come here, but the Colts got a solid one after their owner totaled meddled with the depth chart, fired Reich midseason, and has a list of irrational behavior. These assistant coaches typically jump on chances when they are offered. Remember when Dorsey was getting some looks last year? Well now he is a midseason fired OC. A lot can change fast and a lot of them will jump on an opportunity if given the chance.

I understand the endless firing speculation but it's not going to happen before the season is over.   We'll be 2-15 and the Bears will have #1 overall gift wrapped.

We'll not be at the table for whatever generational quarterback gets taken.

Won’t matter. We were just at the table when at least one was taken and totally misplayed the hand.

There’s a lot of coaches who want to come here because Bryce is here. Sorry to tell you that, but that’s a F A C T.

    • Just another 1st round QB that never paid off for the team that drafted them or traded for them. It's been like this since the SB began. 36 QBs have now won the SB & only 13 of them have been 1st rounders winning with their original team. Namath 1968, Griese 1972, Bradshaw 1974, McMahon 1985, Simms 1986, Aikman 1992, Elway 1997, Roethlisberger 2005, P.Manning 2006, E.Manning 2007, Rodgers 2010, Flacco 2012, & Mahomes 2019. Only 3 have taken longer than 5 seasons as the starter to win a SB.  4  6  5  4  6  4  15  2  9  4  3  5  2 [the years it takes for these 1st round QBs] 5  1  4  1  3  1  1  2  3  4  [10 of the 36 have won a chip with their 1st team that haven't been drafted in the 1st round. These are the years it took them as a starter] What stands out? Only 2 of these QBs have lost their first championship appearance. Elway took 4 years as a 1st rounder & Hurts took 2 years as a 2nd rounder. Of the 10 non-1st round QBs, 2 are 2nd rounders, 3 are 3rd rounders, 5 are 6th rounders or later. Please stop wasting time on drafting 1st round QBs with such a high failure rate. The remaining 13 QBs are traded or free agent signings. Stafford, Favre, Young, Williams and Dawson are the 5 trades. Peyton Manning & Tom Brady also won for teams as free agents on a short stay as well as being drafted. The lesson here is don't waste your franchise on farming up 1st rounders for the league, and steer clear of trading for a franchise QB. Stick to finding that championship QB by drafting them outside of the 1st round or through free agency.
    • I lost most of the respect I had for Fox in 2010. He should have resigned if he hated the job that much. Instead he stuck for his paycheck and let stuff go to hell.    I burned out on Ron too but my deal breaker issue with him was away from football and after he was gone from the Panthers. He may have been out of his depth but never quit on us.
    • From where they were one year ago to now, pretty incredible. I mean, say what you want about Vrabel he is no Jerrod Mayo.
