About the Tampa game... does Tabor get the "new coach bump" and we beat the Bucs?

Will we get the new coach bump and get off the skid or is this just same ole same ole

Unfortunately I don't think this a Raiders scenario where there's talented players but disgruntled with ineffective coaching

I think this is talent void roster with inept coaching

Bucs 21

Carolina 20

I don't know if we win but I did throw a few bucks on a Carolina +5.5/u37.5 parlay. Interim coaches usually get a dead cat bounce and tend to cover against the spread in their first game at a high rate (although sample size is small). And I don't think either Carolina or Tampa's offense is going to do much of anything.

Don't like the matchup, they have a good run defense and questionable secondary (similar to Tennessee). I have a feeling they copy and paste Tennessee's game plan, take Thielen out of it by throwing extra defenders his way and dare us to throw it deep. Not sure if this staff will try something different.

There's also the Baker Mayfield revenge game factor and the fact that Mike Evans pretty much owns us.

As long as their starting rb scores a tuddy I don't care.  I've discovered a trend and intend to exploite it. Only thing of value watching this shitty team.

Tampa not ours just to be clear if anyone wants to tail 9-2 hit rate. 7-4 if you parlay the other team covering the spread

    • 3 years to figure it out and the answer has been the same every time.  Think they will try a different solution? Bryce and Andy lol. I hope so but it is hard to have any faith in them to do that.  The Cam stuff, I don’t think anyone is talking about that thinking he is a solution for 2026. Just wishing we had some of his ability at the position now.
    • The time adjustment plus this weather might be the only leg up we get. Just run it 40 times between Rico and Chuba lol.
    • My amateur opinion … It’s that footwork and his overall mechanics that stop him. Short sucks too but his accuracy and timing and velocity, all compromised by his technique.  Not enough natural arm strength there to overcome it. I am not sure what another year would do if he isn’t fixing that stuff. Or two years.  If he could have things straight and squared away he could maybe get enough out of his abilities to play consistently week to week.  He will still be limited by things like field vision and what someone pointed out this week that I had never noticed or considered - trajectory on really short near field throws like goal to go situations. They said the arc he needs to clear the d line guys is such a high angle that it is hard to get the ball back down soon enough. Which boy, that is a can of touch pass worms there if you think about it. Like shooting a basket where defenders can goal tend. You have to throw it so soft that defenders can close on it. Receivers would have to use their bodies to shield.   Then you are left with rolling out to see the field and get a lane, which shuts down half the the field and is easier to defend. It’s really tough. You go looking for negatives, or impediments, they are there to find.
