But let's snap back to reality here. We were outscored by 60 (SIXTY) points in weeks 1 and 2. Average 30 point loss. Maybe Dalton helps us shave off 20 of those points, I'd consider that a huge success. Still an average 10 point loss. This team still sucks. Don't try to kill reality:

I’m not expecting a ton of wins. I’m not expecting playoffs. None of that. What I am expecting and excited for, is finally seeing a team that looks like an nfl team on offense.

Seeing as how the Saints almost beat the Cowboys by 30 at their house, maybe that loss wasn't as bad as I thought...

I honestly think both sides of the ball just quit after realizing how much Bryce sucked. I could see better effort/desire out of our team against the Raiders this week (unless Dalton sucks as bad as Bryce does).

We won the turnover battle and still got pummeled. Defense is going to play harder based off the thought of competent QB play alone.

With Young off the field anything is possible. I hope Dalton doesn’t get injured again because I don’t want to see Bryce play another down for the Panthers.

Honestly it allows us to see what we have in our WR's and properly evaluate the rest of the team

If Dave is the real deal then who the hell knows. Dalton might have a career resurgence. Either way we'll at least be able to evaluate the WR's and the offense as a whole.

Yes, the team will still be super-ass with Dalton at the helm.  No doubt about it. The defense is so bad that the offense will to have to score 40 to have a shot at winning.

I don't care about wins and losses. I care about our young talent getting a real opportunity to prove themseleves with a real veteran QB.

 

XL and Sanders should show some promise now that they have a real QB.
