Zavala worries me. He was beyond horrible in the past, but I'm hoping he's improved. If you're going to keep an eye on anyone it's Zavala.

He was highly valued coming out of college. Stop judging him by his rookie season in which the entire offense except for Adam T, failed miserably.

we really need Wonnum back, for at minimum obvious passing downs. Another edge that can get to the QB would be really big for this defense

Wonnum is a major addition especially with our defense hungry to show we’re much better than we’ve shown but we’ve been put in ridiculous situations the first two games. But I’m just as excited to see Barno he has a very high potential to be a pass rush specialist. I’m even thinking he could have a Brian Burns type of impact, he’s very fast very bendable around the edge. If he can put it all together like a lot of DEs do in their third year with what’s in front of him two strong by vets he should be able to flourish. We still have impact guys on the shelf we just might have to win and compete this year.

He looked good in the preseason and wasn't a disaster on Sunday. I think he can develop into our IOL version of BC(who was pretty shaky early in his career too).

If Zavala progresses, we will finally have something we haven't had for YEARS. Some actual quality OL depth behind a quality OL.

This is why I have always been a favor of continuing to draft OL every single draft. That's how you build and develop a stalwart OL that can buoy your entire offense for years to come.

    • He does have luke-like traits, but ......ugh I hate to spend draft currency on the low valued ILB. Same bitachin I did about Dan traded up for brooks, he even pulled the classic " we had a 1st round grade on him"  Hell I rather see if Wallace finally learned how to get his body ready for a NFL season. Toss this in the pile too, Id be ok with Claudin Cherelus starting. I think Lloyd will elevate any player next to him and Claudin would break out, he's got the same health issues like Sanders.....he's climbing the mountain and pulls a hammy.  Plus since this a great and deep ILB group, the UDFA pool should have a few players that get overlooked.
    • Typically stay away from women's soccer but little hit today
    • Dang I wish I could add, but Im not the NBA fan like I was years ago. I will just share the little I can- Philly is a big NO form me. Knicks does not scare me, I rather face them over Philly. If Celtics are healthy, I put them next to Philly in NO terms.  My issue with this hornet team is that they are too young about playoff NBA ball. Close games are not their friends mainly cause there's no OLD head to calm them down. Plus living by 3 in close setting, these misses hurt young teams more.  Just enjoy the ride and see the growth, playoff ball is a different sport....maybe Ball can MVP this thing a couple series?!?!?!
