Every single passes is at or behind the LOS

Washington is taking away deep routes, crossing routes and running between the tackles.

They are leaving both flats completely open. Challenging the RBs and TEs to win with the swings, screens and sweeps. Hubbard and Sanders can't get it up field by beating 1 defender.

That has to be won to break the Washington D

That’s different.  You asked why people want Canales to run the freaking ball and not go to the pass so early.

Hubbard is our best player. Leaning on him prevents the opposing from getting on the field and scoring points.  Canales doesn’t do this.  He should.

They are sitting on Hubbard.  They are on him as soon as he gets the ball.  We aren't going to be able to run the ball.

They are sitting on the run, doubling Johnson, and with Thielen out, we have no one else who is a threat.

Overall it’s been Canales that has stopped Hubbard more than opposing defenses.   AT isn’t much of a threat.  If an offensive coach can’t scheme up XL, Coker and Mingo to replace AT WITH a vet QB…..that’s probably on the coach

You realize the offense still gets 8 to 10 drives a game, right? You see that the running game can't consistently win?

    • At this point, I think Chubba is the odd man out. I hate that, but I think Dowdle gives us more production and big play ability.  But there is still a lot of football to play.  I think it depends on how much Dowdle will want too.
    • I’ve been anti-trade when it comes to Melo, but the way this season has started, it may be time.  I love his game and he’s a cool dude, but I’m starting to think, if he’s your best player, you’re never going to win anything of significance.  Too many brain farts, too many injuries, and ultimately for as fun and entertaining as he is to watch - his game is indeed a thing of beauty - it just doesn’t translate to wins.  And that’s IF he even plays.  I think it’s time to cash out and maximize the return.  I love Melo, but I think it’s pretty clear what the ceiling is for a team where he is the best player.
    • Every NFL team, college program, hell even HS has numerous "what ifs" that got derailed by injury. It's a brutal sport and half the battle is just getting lucky enough to stay healthy. Doesn't matter how durable you are and how well you take care of your body everyone is one weird hit or awkward twist away from a career derailing injury.
