Bryce played better but still didn't impress me.   The guy that did impress me was JT Sanders, who exceeded Ian Thomas's career YAC in one completion

If Brooks can play well, the offense has some legit pieces for the future. Just probably still need that most important piece

Did he play better? Yes Enough to give him another start.

Enough to change my mind?  No

He had one decent drive and a short field drive.

Glad we won especially against the Saints but we need to see weekly improvement before we jump back on the Young bandwagon.

Agreed  It’s one game.

now we need a defensive draft that was just as good as this past draft was for offense with Legette, Coker, JT Sanders, and Brooks (hopefully)

I'm not convinced he's the future right now, but I have been encouraged by what I've seen the last 2 weeks. If this was his rookie season, I'd be all for it. Maybe that's how we have to look at it for now. Though it's hard to forget the first 2 games this season. If he continues to show improvement, and confidence in himself and receivers, then we may have something. Would like to see a few more deep shots and better pocket awareness.

He's showed a good bit of progress over the last few weeks, but I'd rather see if a team could give up a first- or second-round pick than double down.

Maybe, just maybe, Morgan won't ship him out with a third-rounder for a conditional 2031 sixth. He probably will get that return if he trades him. So on second thought, hell, keep him.

Can I see him get 100 yards before halftime? I get that it feels like cherry picking with him but his first half performances are consistently terrible. He did well today to win this game though I won’t take that away from him. I’m genuinely happy for him today and for Panther nation.

    • Do you see the vision?  As of now our Carolina Panthers don’t have an identity. We are not an offensive powerhouse and on defense we only started getting it together towards the end of the year last year. In my opinion we are much closer to having an incredible defense that scares the daylights out of people. I say the answer is simple and we fully commit to that possible identity.    Emmanuel McNeil Warren (E man)  This guy is like a shark lurking around ready to attack anyone. Fearless. He is easily a top 20 talent in my eyes, and the only reason he isn’t more talked about is because he’s from Toledo. Do your due diligence as panther fans and watch his tape I beg you. Once you’re done watching let me ask you this, if you dropped E - Man into the strong safety spot on the Buckeyes, he isn’t being talked about as one of the best prospects we’ve seen in some time given the skill set you see with this guy? I think so. Put his name on the card and turn it in at 19.    Jacob Rodriguez  High effort, High energy, High IQ guy that flies around the field. We all know Jacob at this point. My only concern is he’s a little bit too good and I’m not sure he makes it to us at our pick in the second. With the additions of Jacob and E- Man I think our defense goes to top 5 in the league. We would have a duo of linebackers that rival anything we’ve had in our past. I’m not a GM so I don’t know what the possible answer could be, but if there’s a way we can comfortably trade up in the second to secure this guy I think we find a way to do it.    Spend the rest of our picks fixing the O - line.    Thoughts Panthers fans? Who’s the ideal duo for yall?
    • OL is arguably much more important to the success of a young QB. (Or any QB)
    • Didn’t get around to watching this one but looks like Pistons played their starters and actually tried…? Unlucky that they sit vs Magic, etc and try vs us. Hopefully we can beat the Heat and then Magic or 6ers with no Embiid. BUT if not, the NBA really should give us the lottery win this year like they did Mavs last year. Another high pick could be our final missing piece and have us as legit top contenders next year and going forward if we’re healthy. Or trade it for a Giannis type
