Good move, doesnt stop us from drafting a center, the thing is we realized the importance of a good O-line last year, it was instrumental in Bryce's development, so having O-line depth is good and Corbett is a fine interior lineman.

Depending on the number I like this he's good when healthy. I like Mayes at C more, but Corbett played well before he got hurt. Even if Corbett loses the C job he will be really good guard depth and make losing Brady Christensen hurt a little less.

Panthers re-signed C Austin Corbett to a one-year contract.

That now gives the Panthers five returning starters along an offensive line that was widely regarded as the strength of their offense a season ago. The terms of the contract were not yet made available. The longtime starter missed most of the 2024 season after suffering a torn bicep in Week 5.

It's a bad year for drafting a center, hence why we probably did this.

Good move!! Starter and depth in place for Center. We may still need to draft a tackle and guard in the later rounds for more depth
