Man, we’ve had some really really good LBs play for this organization. The guy we have as our team architect was one of those really good LBs.

It’s sad to see how far we’ve fallen with that position. It’s never been like this smh

Stupid decisions and impulsive moves like the trade up to #1 and the subsequent moves that have been made to justify it have created the circumstances we see now in what had always been a strength for us. If we had been building intelligently and methodically from the jump we would be in such better shape across the board.

I’m convinced there is a better linebacker everywhere, on this board, working at Walmart, at your house, maybe even your wife…..BUT even though he has missed some tackles, he has on occasion been in the way of opposing offenses and has maybe altered a few run lanes/routes.  This is an improvement from 2024 Panthers linebacking.

I don't get this FO sometimes. Our gm was a linebacker .....how do we annually neglect that position? It's not hard to see It's a pretty  glaring need. Roseboom is not the worst but he's far from the answer. He should be relegated to ST and the 3rd team reps.

It wouldnt take much effort to instantly upgrade.

This team has a rich history of great linebackers.

Is a high standard to hold anybody to.

Take the fact, that the NFL has been prioritizing other positions over linebacker, adds to this also.

The fact that our drafts have been offensive heavy for awhile now, also adds to it.

As a fan of great defenses, I  am definitely not satisfied with the trend that has been happening.  While Morgan is a retired linebacker, it's not like he hasn't had other priorities in the 2 years he's been in control.  We also lost a good starter from last season, that we weren't expecting to lose.

Not making excuses, just observation.

At this point, it is what it is for this season, whether we like it or not.

He has been pretty focused on fixing a problem but it seems like it is just one big effort at the most glaring problem per season.

They are building LOS first, I hope next year they focus on the second level. I would love to see him put his overkill stamp on ILB.
