Played their asses off and kept Bryce upright most of the game. I thought with Hunt being out it would hurt, but they played very well. Zavala and Mays showed up and did their jobs. Good job guys.

Yeah they did a good job for sure. Credit where it is due.

But in fairness they should given that we have the highest paid unit by a significant margin.

Zavala has come a long way. Mays should stay the starter. Corbett will make a fine back up.

Great point on Zavala. This is why you don't give up on young players. He looks terrible last year but has really improved.

It was a good sign because eventually we're gonna have to move on from two high paid guards

So if we get out to an early lead, make sure Bryce isn't pressured and faces 0 adversity we win, got it. The money in the oline is definitely a requirement. When Bryce plays loose and has fun he can do the job. We just need to figure out how to get him to play carefree when we are in close games. That will be the difference, when the game is on the line and the pressure ratchets up he still has to remember it's just a fuging game.

Everyone on this forum knew Mays was the better player.  It's sad it took an injury.

Unpopular? Fans were screaming for Mays to be center even in the offseason. Hardly anybody wanted Corbett over Mays at center.

Zavala is another example of why you don’t automatically give up on someone. Yeh he was terrible but he’s showing promise now and could possibly be a starter here.
