Unsustainable

Before you all rip me an ass, let me voice my opinion. It is not sustainable winning with 103 yards passing, no touchdowns, and turnovers. If they didn't have Rico blowing sh%t up, they would be in deep trouble. I am thrilled that they are winning. I am not being negative, just realistic.

The season is almost half way over and they still have the problem of anemic QB production. Believe me, they know something has to give sooner or later. I like Bryce as a person and seems like a good dude. But being a good dude will not win games in the long run.

Sooner or later, they will have to make a change. Their is a certain level of production that you need from the QB position. This kind of production will not get them to the next level.

I agree. Take away the games against the dolphins and cowboys, two historically bad defenses, and this offense doesn’t score points.

There are seven anti-Bryce Young threads on just the first page of this forum. Not sure we needed an eighth, but hell at this point I’m thinking this place will have 0 visitors, 0 posts and 0 activity the moment he’s cut/traded.

Pretty sure most of us understand that.  However, running the ball and playing good defense IS sustainable.  We’re not winning a ring this year so let’s just see how many people we can make angry along the way.

I wouldn't mind him as a number 2 backup and leader from the bench. But we have to upgrade the position and there's no way Dan and Dave don't see it too if we see it

Strong running game and defense will ALWAYS be sustainable. However, there will be games where one of them will have an off day, and on those days you need your QB to pick up the slack. Bryce has shown for 3 years that he is not capable of doing that. However, the way this team is being built, we are going to have a strong team for our next QB.

And this is what people need to understand. This is how a winning culture is built. We're a young team trying to find our way and we'll definitely take our lumps here and there. But the amount of bitching and complaining when we're sitting at 5-4 is kind of crazy. The last few years we would have killed to have a 5-4 record at this point instead of 1-7 2-6 or 0-8. I dont care how we win ive watched my favorite football team be complete ass for far too long.

Except for maybe two or three, people appreciated the win on Sunday and vs the NYJ and vs Dallas and even Miami. As much as he tried to give that one away, the team wouldn’t let that happen.
