  1. 1. Which is you?

    • He's the guy. Franchise QB.

    • We just need to make a few more moves and be patient.

    • I will give him the rest of the season.
    • Probably not but maybe.
    • Nope. I had hope and that is basically gone.
    • Hell no. I said I would be patient after the endnof 2024. No more.
    • I didn't think he was before the season started.
    • I have been saying he sucked the whole fuging time!

Putting all your eggs in the basket of a 5’10 QB is, was, and always will be a terrible decision.

There have been roughly 500ish starting QBs in the NFL since the merger. 5 of those guys are under 6ft tall and have started at least a full season. Thats 1 fuging percent.

How anyone can defend drafting him, let alone thinking he has an actual chance to become a successful long term NFL QB is not being logical.

You have Russell Wilson and Doug Flute. Kyler Murray already lost his job and the other two guys last played in the mid 70s.

The only reason Im not saying just flat out cut him, is he could pull a Darnold or Baker and turn it around for someone else in a couple years. I mean, wouldn’t that be the most Panthers thing ever?

Time to put that to bed.  Darnold and Mayfield have physical abilities Bryce will never have.  There is no path for success in the NFL for Bryce.

fug this dude.  My god hes the absolute most unstable disorienting dogshit QB i've ever seen.  he can make plays, he just chooses not to.  Bryce young is dumpster fire behind planned parenthood bad.  at this point, the idea of bringing in competition isnt an option, as long as hes on the roster, he will start and he will actively hold the team back.

Only reason I didn’t go with the last option is because it took me until game 3 or 4 of his rookie season to realize he wasn’t going to work.

But yea; ever since then, I’ve just known he wasn’t going to work out. It’s time to move on. We know how this story goes. He’ll probably have one or two mid games to close out the season, but next season, he’d open up horrid. A repeat from year 1, 2, and 3.

Out of pie but same here.  I was hopeful before he got on the field, but after a handful of games it was clear he wasn't it.

Calling Bryce a 5'10" QB is unfair to QBs that are actually 5'10"

Amazing that EVERYONE had him as a Top 2 pick (as far as draft experts).

Im ready for some competition next year at the very least.

Yea, I dont even care at this point if he turns into a bro powler for another team

it was evident after his rookie year, he lacked the tools to play in this league.

and it was also evident, unless you were going to 100% on some gimmick offense w/ elite YAC players all over the field there was really no point.

we have been wasting time because we can't accept we picked a dud despite getting a real quick and clear answer.

Correct.

He's a career backup. Can come in and win you a game...but he's likely the 30th best starter in the league.

The Atlanta game was a perfect storm and a mirage. He played amazing...but so did Matt Flynn when he threw for 480 yards in a game once upon a time.

In a perfect world he's traded. In the next perfect more likely world, he's our backup next season after losing a camp battle and the team having the balls to bench him. Let him play out his contract on the sideline, and pray somebody trades for him after an injury next year.

I knew what I saw the pro day video. I had him off my board because of his size but then it became a realistic possibility that he was going #1.
So I looked at the pro day and a couple of other videos. I was as sure as I could be without actually seeing him on an NFL field.

That spring after he was drafted I knew all the hype could only be countered with actual NFL game results so just remained as silent as I could in the face of the insane hype and self congratulatory ‘we are so smart playoffs here we come’ poo. Pretty quiet.
Then came his debut and it was everything I thought it would be. And worse.
For two weeks.

Then Frank put Dalton in. Game over. Debate over.  He is not an NFL QB. His game didn’t look NFL at all. In no way did it look pro.

And guys, those of you who want to throw out that first season, he was never it, he was never going to be it. You can trot out all the excuses known to fankind, it will not change the reality. Just more noise to signal.

He showed us all right away in the first two weeks and Dalton put a bow on it. Even in a washed state and in a loss. The difference was night and day.

Never wanted, just knew when the trade happen there was no way they traded that for a lil guy with bad foot work and weaker arm.

Really think they could have stayed at 9 and got him. Was just hoping I was wrong but 3yrs later all hope is gone.

Even on the pick in the end zone(MNF) I think he was doing a jumping pass but to his credit his drop back has improved from the slow walk back from his rookie yr so there is that.
