I’m 5’11 and very muscular. I am 190. No way in hell is Bryce 205. I’ve seen him in person and it reminded me of this pic lol some bs going on on those metric stats for sure.

And they shouldn’t. You can’t tell me that a number of teams would not have had Bryce on their board strictly because of his physical stature. For sure not for day 1.
It is a big man’s game.  As they say. I never took him seriously as a possibility until the team forced me to.

Bryce has at times, a couple or three, done better than I ever thought he would. He hasn’t sustained it though.  Because it’s fuging hard. He did a very good job in the playoffs against the Rams. But that was actually what told me they probably were not gonna win that game yesterday. What did he do against Seattle? Rams just aren’t that strong defensively.

As far as small guys I do think a Smitty lite is what this offense could really use. I dare not hope for a 1 to 1 Smitty comp, we couldn’t get that lucky, but someone in his mold would really complement this WR bunch.

I too would like to add a HoF WR to our receiving corps.

Oh yeah. Definitely.  And it isn’t outside the realm of possibility that we just did that. With luck health wise Tet could have a long productive career.

I did say ‘lite’ when looking at Smitty types.  Like, Horn is fast but with a body type more like Bryce, get one with a body type more like Murray. Which would be Smitty like.  Not really stocky but sturdy. Still quick as hell.

What made Smitty HOF was that heart you aren’t likely to find that.

One thing that's always bothered me about Young is that he doesn't look like he ever touches weights. I thought for sure after we drafted him, he would go crazy in the weight room and gain some size. He should've gone from 175 to a legit 200 by now but he just doesn't seem to care.

Same here.  State of the art training facilities, private chef, private coaches and he... still looks 16.

He wouldn't have been so small coming out of college if he did that

    • Btw... only Mitch fugging Marner has a better +/- than Key 🔑!!! And, Mitchy needed 5 more games and almost 100 more shifts to get there.
    • I was honestly flabbergasted to see Rod send out Stanky and the boys to to matchup against their top line to start the game. The reason that line has been so effective is because they've been matched mostly against 2nd and 3rd lines all year. You've got last change. Use it to your advantage.
    • Nobody played well on defense last night. But, the vitriol towards Chatfield (and to a lesser extent, K'andre) is bigly misplaced. People (not just you) just refuse to accept how bad Slavin has been this season. And, I get it. Canes fans (and informed analysts) have spent nearly a decade trying to explain to casuals just how good Jaccccob is at hockey. 4Nations happened and the hockey watching public started to listen. National media even started floating the idea of creating a new award in his honor. Then this season, he gets hurt. It happens. NBD. But, when he finally came back, it wasn't the same. He'll get back to his old self in no time. Probably just some rust, it'll be fine. Only, it wasnt rust, and he's not fine. He's bad right now. It wasnt just last night. Although, that was absolutely the worst game of his NHL career. Slavin (-4) currently has the 3rd worst +/- of anyone left in the playoffs. We've  been begging the world to recognize Jaccob Slavin's greatness. And, by the time we finally got people to listen, he shits the bed! I blame Kash!
