Panther brass will be coy regarding what they will do in the first round and may even subtly make it seem that they are leaning to drafting a QB...but they won’t. You won’t hear a peep out of Teddy himself until after the draft, and every time the coach or GM are asked about it they will give a generic answer that you will be able to read into what you will, but they don’t pick a QB on draft day. 
 

Many will slam this post, but we shall discover that Teddy is their guy they will go forward with and will continue to rebuild the team as they started doing last off-season.

Maybe except TB isn’t their guy. If he was, there wouldn’t be a year 3 opt out. It’s there for a reason and that reason is 2020. Along with sitting a guy if necessary for 2021. Long as it ends in a plan that results in long term success, I do not care the route.

We might not draft a QB in round one but I will guarantee that our QB room will have at least one new face to compete and start in front of TB.

      We have more draft so it will be nice to see what they will prioritize going forward. my only gripe is how it’s being spinned that he’s walker, moton, ickey insurance. Obviously we don’t know who we will selected with the remainder of our picks, but isn’t that how the Vernon butler pick was also spinned ? I would hope( and I believe the staff believes this) freeling has a chance to take over the starting job this year and he’s an improvement over a good but inconsistent ickey and free agent Rasheed Walker, which off of talent alone, he has the ability to do.    but the fan in me will compare lemon and thieneman’s success to freelings going forward .
