John Ellis likes him, I don’t know why. I remember him saying he had a great career during the podcast Ellis had him on. That was hilarious. He was never a starter and his stats were terrible.
He is WAY too involved and is kinda riding his brother success. Like he had a failed career and is using his brother.  Personally I don’t like him, but I know plenty of people do.

Yet none of us made it to the NFL, and we post on the Huddle, and we reference someone who at least made it to the pros as a failed career...sheesh.

He comes across as vocal, and doesn't share popular opinions, and supports the shiii out of his little bro, no different than UNQUALIFIED people on here / twitter.

I see no difference outside the credentials that we don't have. 🤨

McClover made about a million dollars over the course of three years. That's a helluva lot more than I made in my first three years out of college.

And wasted it all so fast that he took 5K from HBO sports to lie about taking money from Auburn. Not many people I think less of than Stanley.

Valid. Admittedly it's also fair to point out that as a player, McClover's bark was significantly worse than his bite.

As to the story, I could see somebody in the locker room going up to Burns and saying "Hey man, your brother said the team should get rid of me. What's that about?" But I doubt that merits more than a shrug and a "Well, you know how he is" in response.

He was a 7th round draft pick. If you make a final roster as a 7th rounder you were pretty much a successful draft pick.

Doesn't seem like a good look for me... seems like he's too involved could cause problems in the future.. I've already seen him criticizing the team and the coaches.. encouraging us to trade other players... something to watch?

Stanley McClover Jr is Brian Burns brother?

Whatever you say man. He had a failed career. He is annoying. But that is my opinion.

    • I like Willie Drew (CB, Virginia State) as well.  He is a lock for the PS with a shot at the roster.
    • I like this kid--he will make the roster.  However, he said that his sophomore year was the first playoff game in school history. Incorrect.  Western Carolina beat them in the FCS playoffs many years ago.
