Sewell is a good pick

Hill is drafted 2 rounds early here. I recently did my complete mock draft, selected Hill with pick 151

Grant will be gone by midway through round 2

 

I do like all 3 players as fits for the Panthers though.

If there ever was a draft to fix a bad O line this is it. I agree  I think we need to invest atleast 2 high round picks. Regardless, if they screw this up and we still have the same issues this season it will be a long time if i ever have real faith in this staff.

We have suffered since Gross retired. It seems every year that we have had a decent replacement we have done well or at least not sucked. If Sewell is there at 8 you run to give them your selection before you wake up and realize it is only a dream sequence. On the other hand you might love a QB who dropped. That could be a bigger risk than taken the sure thing in Sewell. Pitts is a stud no doubt. I can't say I would be upset with a stud left tackle or stud TE. I think Rhule will go LT.

Some may not think that he can play LT, but IDK. Rashawn Slater looks mighty good against Chase Young.

As much as I love Pitts, you go with Sewell. The value and need are there.

i'd take a corner over a safety, but we had good luck with the last safety we drafted in that range so if this happens, i'd be ecstatic.

Here you have 3 players that would very possibly be available at the Panthers selection that would immediately start week 1. You can't ask for much more out of rounds 1-3.
