BREAKING: A.Rodgers wants out of Green Bay

Recommended Posts

Crazy this came to a head on draft day. He wants to go to SF and they hold the #3 pick but that alone isn't enough and their future draft capital is seriously limited due to that trade to get to #3.

Gonna be interesting but I think he'll force his way to SF, but it's going to have to come together in hours and you have to wonder how prepared GB was for this line in the sand situation. Have they done their homework enough on the QBs to take one at #3? Are they comfortable rolling with Live? If so, could they then turn around and out #3 on the block themselves?

Interesting stuff indeed.

Give him what he wants. he'll come

Green bay just simply had to give him what he wants they said nope so he said screw you im out

He won't touch us with a ten foot pole.  I bet he'd retire before coming here.

He can ask for a trade to the Chargers or something while he moonlights on Jeopardy

Funny this came out on draft night, you know this was on purpose. I smell moving draft picks, tonight may be the craziest draft in recent years.

I kept saying to myself that this one of the most intriguing drafts in a while, atleast for the 1st round. It should be interesting to see what all goes down.

I take back what I said earlier - I wouldn't want to be in an NFL War Room.

The NFL is batshit.

I am told that virtually everyone is scrambling, I can't even imagine. I can't even get back more than a two sentence message haha

yep, SF likely blew the ammo it would take to land Rodgers.....for Mac Jones lol.  That's good stuff.

I just don't see how they can get Rodgers.   GB would demand picks they no longer own.  SF would have to dip into stud players.  Kittle level.

    • There's so many unknowns but I do believe we have a Top-5 defense and they will give us the opportunity to crank out some wins.  I also see the division a bit in flux.   Two men that will need to be on point to make it to the post-season: Joe Brady+Sam Darnold Sax's Prediction is that they make some noise.  Darnold could have an up and down year but with better stats than we're used to at the position.  I'm looking at Joe Brady to make this work more than anyone. 11-6; division win
    • As most of you know by now the Moton extension freed up 10M in cap space, putting us in a pretty solid spot financially with 24M available. I think Rhule outlined last off-season that they'd like to carry at least 6-8M into the regular season to account for unforeseen circumstances, so for the sake of argument, let's say we have a functional 17M (average of 6 & 8 is 7).  Names like Clinton-Dix were already in camp for try-outs, and recently Kawaan Short was cleared and recently featured in a picture with Derrick Brown and Bravvion Roy (see twitter / instagram) Knowing that DL & S aside from OL are weak points, who out of the available free agents draws the most interest from you? S - Chinn / Burris / Robinson / Clinton-Dix** DL - Brown / Jones / Roy / Nixon / Short** I don't hate those additions as depth / rotational players on 1-yr deals, which is likely any team would offer, while still having youth at those positions* Available Free Agents - https://nfltraderumors.co/top-50-2021-nfl-free-agents/ Based on this list, there's a few names that at least stand out to me: OL -  Okung is better than -- Erving / Little / Scott IDL - KK Short / Jurrell Casey / Damon Harrison as another space eater Off Ball LB - KJ Wright (Fitterer ties) / Kwon Alexander / Mychal Kendricks (Fitterer ties) Edge - Justin Houston / Olivier Vernon / Ezekiel Ansah (Fitterer ties) / Bruce Irvin (Fitterer & CAR ties)
    • Until we can start consistently beating then again, i don't give a poo.  The last few years, they could trot out 7 players and still beat our ass with their hands tied behind their back, unless of course the outcome would have us draft in a worse position.😂
