Let's let them get some actual games under their belt first. I don't like saddling a bunch of rookies with unfair expectations. Remember it took Samuel a few seasons to really hit his stride.

Marshall is one of the few rookie wr I’d put expectations on. Having Brady as the  OC and already being familiar with the playbook is just an added bonus. I said when he was drafted I expected him to make an impact year 1. My favorite pick of the draft.

We have a lot of pure football types and I love it.

A few non-rookie names I'm quite keen on:

  • Jermaine Carter Jr. - I think will be a starter
  • Marquis Haynes - Has improved steadily every year, crowded line but he makes plays
  • Morgan Fox - yes please.  He's possibly my favorite addition this year FA wise
  • Omar Bayless - Do not sleep on this man folks

I understand the thought process but still would caution that he is a rookie and this is the NFL. Traditionally rookie WR's tend to struggle. I just don't like to see runaway expectations for young players that lead to unwarranted fan disappointment. Glad to see him making some plays in TC but I am not going to get too excited or upset until he has a few games under his belt.

Besides Reddick, he's my favorite addition to the D. I think he'll surprise some folks. My overall favorite, though, is Dan Arnold. He's legit and he's gonna get lots of 1st downs and score lots of TDs.

Sounds like our DBs are already getting roasted

I'm not overly concerned about it, yet. It's highlights. Those plays are going to be more exciting to post/talk about. I've also read that our DLine has had to pull up many times because they busted through the line, but since its practice, the play continued. That pass rush will help the coverage.

    • If Henderson just got a concussion and will possibly/probably now miss next week as well, gotta think missing 2 games of stats at this point of the year might knock him out as he was only just entering the discussion the last few weeks anyways.  Same goes for Judkins going down today too, and Dart's god awful game likely removes him from the conversation as well. It will be interesting to see how the voters compare T-Mac and Egbuka if they end up with stats that are nearly identical. Egbuka burst onto the scene and put up the bulk of his stats early in the year when Baker was playing like the MVP front runner.  While T-Mac was just more consistent throughout the course of the full season (ex. Egbuka has 8 games of 42 yards or less, T-Mac has 4 of them, while T-Mac still scored 3 TDs in those 4 games, where Egbuka only scored 1 TD in his 8). It would be a shame if they put too much weight on the final game of the season if that ends up being the division decider, as I think T-Mac has had the better SEASON while Egbuka had a better peak output during that first month or so but way cooled off since. Maybe Warren goes off in the last 3 games (they still play tomorrow), but it does seem to be down to T-Mac and Egbuka right now.
    • Mitchell Evan’s put a block on someone that he drove them all the way out of bounds and to the bench. He absolutely destroyed the guy. He’s gonna be a beast for us if he keeps that up.
    • Yall... stop taking a sample size and projecting a role player into a permanent starter cuz he had a decent year after what, 5? Come on
