I’ve said it since the trade. If he had entered the draft this year he would have been the 2nd QB taken. The talent is there. He just needs to be coached up. 
 

If he can work on his mental game, he can be a top half of the league QB.

Not gonna lie. This thought has been percolating in my brain ever since we traded for him. The talent is there. The question is, can we get the best out of him?

 

Everything I have heard or read, this kid gets it.

Thanks. We weren't aware that it's camp and not a game. Nobody has pointed this out in the past 27 training camps when  play is mentioned.

True, but at least we don't have to be embarrassed about our QB having a noodle arm.

I don't think people doubt Darnold's physical talent, it's more about putting the whole package together as a QB for him. Excited to see what he brings to the offense this year.
