Talk to me about the Jets. What do you know?

I had a dream last night I was on vacation in the Bahamas and I looked at the TV behind the swim up bar and the Panthers beat the Jets 20-17.

This is one of the years,, we really don't know what to expect from either team..  

Oh, we think we have more talent, better coaching etc,  but let's see it on the field Sunday.

I really don't know what to expect, to be completely honest. First time I can say that in a Week 1.

I expect the Panthers to come out and give a tremendous effort and instead of blowing it when it's close, move further in front. to a strong win. They are not gonna run away with it but I feel we are gonna see a good team in front of a lively crowd and win and make believers of themselves. It won't be perfect but it will be a start.

They are capsule looking objects with wings, engines, wheels, pilots and passengers...but that's not important now.  The Panthers have a home game versus New York this Sunday!

Week 1 often tells you lies.  Hard to predict it.  Lot of bad teams look good and good ones bad. 
 

Hard to have a lot to confidence in our OL though.   And if it is what it is, hard to have confidence in Sam behind it

I think there are several teams we are going to face that worries me this year because of our OL.

The jets aren't one of them. People are overestimating the Jets and also overestimating Darnold level of panic proneness.

Better to overestimate the Jets and be pleasantly surprised if the Panthers win than underestimate the Jets and be highly disappointed if the Panthers lose.

I know the Jets Defense is gutted.

 

BUT Quinnen Williams vs Elfien/Paradis could end up as Ugly as Remmers vs Von Miller

Jamison Crowder is much better than he's given credit for. Major loss for their offense if he can't go.

First game is when you want to play the good teams, not the bad ones.  Better chance to get an upset.

The Jets are strong on the defensive line.  That is about it.  I am and always was a Wilson fan, so that scares me.  His debut could be special.  Sam, in trying to escape the ghosts of the past, has to play the ghosts of his past.  Not fair.  That is like getting hooked up on a blind date with your ex after she dumped you.  Its just wrong.
