it was during a segment on College Gameday...they were talking about who would be a good fit for the Trojans () and Kirk said Rhule was the kind of coach who would relate to the young players, and was the kind of coach that had the characteristics and personality for that particular job.

He Matt and a couple of other guys were who they should be focusing on because of the kind of coaches they are.

They would have to buyout his entire contract with the Panthers. That's 5 more years and about 42 million.

Rhule is a first time NFL head coach making 8.86 million in base salary with incentives for up to 10 million a year. His salary is like top 5 if I’m not mistaken.

But on topic, I don't see Rhule leaving, unless maybe there's a huge regression this season or Tepper/Fitt try to pull too many strings / overstep, which doesn't appear to be the case.

Pretty sure there’s a better chance of Meyer going than Rhule. Rhule doesn’t seem like the kind of person who would start something without finishing it.
