why in the world are we talking about tells for lying??  This kid must be ecstatic that he's gone from an 0-3 team to a contender. (which brings to mind how poor Dan Arnold must be feeling, with the reverse)  I give him credit for being as composed as he was --I know if it were I in his shoes right now, I'd be yelling "Hallelujah!"

Um, I was just replying to the comment 4corners makes, I don't think he was associating the behavior to Henderson and lying about anything. My reply was in general, not to the topic about henderson.

Wondering if the disconnect in Jacksonville was them wanting him to be more vocal, social, talkative, etc. and they tried to force it on him which made him pull back which would not be surprising in the testosterone fueled, alpha male filled field that is football.

The solution might just be as simple as leaving him the hell alone and letting him be himself and do his thing. With our focus on mental health and sports psychology that should be something they are able to identify.

There have been repeated issues with other coaches on staff, with Meyer’s temper and lack of familiarity with the ebbs and flows of the NFL calendar rubbing the Jacksonville Jaguars staff and players the wrong way, the sources said. There is a disconnect at times between the members of the staff with extensive pro experience and those who lack it, and morale has suffered as the outbursts have continued. His fiery remarks to players and coaches after games have already struck many as bizarre.

A kid who spent his whole life in Florida as a known introvert comes to a new city that he knows will be his new home, for better or worse, and people are ripping him for not being a better more excited interview?

Yea. I am kind of surprised they threw him in front of the media so soon. He seemed very uncomfortable, why did they do it?

Scientists, Doctors, Poets, Writers, Inventors, Pilots, War heroes/leaders…and (albeit rarley politics wise) Presidents like Lincoln are all introverted/dominantly introverted professions/introverted styled leaders.

Sadly our society looks down on it, but it’s is a fundamental and profoundly essential trait needed for humans to even exist and even excel. I blame the negative stigma to a lack of education and people’s insecurity. It’s rare a well educated person does not recognize/understand the above, at least in my experience.

It’s funny how this culture values extroverts and the loudest people in the room to the degree of self sacrifice and over looking the alternative. Countless examples.

My analysis:  he wants to play ball, feel like someone cares about his efforts, and otherwise be left alone.

A la Chris Gamble. Not saying Henderson's at that level for sure, but Gamble was the same way and is arguably the best corner Carolina's had (especially when longevity is factored in), definitely top 3.
