It's not impossible to win without a very good to elite level starter, but the margin for error without one is extremely fuging slim. Watson is elite. It's really that simple. 

He needs a team. Our team needs to be fixed. Picks help with that. It's just not in the cards, man.

No one is taking Darnold and that completely unforced error of the 5th year option off our hands. We're gonna have to eat that unless Watson digs in and refuses to sign off on Miami which doesn't seem at all likely.
