Predictions - Panthers at Dolphins

This will be an ol' fashioned ass-whuppin'.

Our Defense is embarrassed and angry, and the only way they can be stopped from carrying out a vengeful slaughter is with a power running game -- and Miami doesn't possess one.

There will be at least 7 sacks, as Miami gets behind and Tua has to pass  (or attempt to), and 1-2 of those will be strips and turnovers.  There will be a S/T or Defensive score, plus 3 passing TDs by Cam, and a long rushing TD by CMC.

38-0.

Again, we get our wild card hopes up.

I be got the feeling that this will be a 24-17 type of game.
I feel that the Panthers will be out to put together a complete game prior to the bye. I see them getting ahead early and then trying to slow the game down with a healthy dose of McCaffrey in the second half.
The defense should bring their A game, as they hopefully learned a lesson on preparation and execution from last week.

Panthers win this week and head into the bye with a slight head of steam.

Brian Flores - a head coach who is on the hot seat and probably getting fired as soon as the season ends, will completely outclass and outcoach Ruhle this game. 24 -17 Fins.

I wish I had an argument for you

I don’t.  I posted  an analysis on that run defense in another topic. It is unbelievable as two thirds of the season is gone, and the coaches can’t figure this out

And in offseason, sadly still the screw ups in QB and oline

lets hope I’m right and you are wrong this Sunday

    • I agree, but I've already said that the players will definitely take more money up front because it's more security. But they want more guaranteed money and NFL FOs don't want to do that for several and various reasons, and that's what's at issue.  https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/nfl-second-round-rookies-finally-starting-to-sign-what-took-so-long-and-what-it-means-for-future-contracts/ It's a tug of war between teams and players, and, sure, paying a player a signing bonus may satisfy them, especially if--and sometimes "only if"--it ultimately leads to a guarantee of more of their contract, but the teams are on the hook for all of those guarantees when cap time comes, so if they guarantee more money, they're ultimately losing the contract game.
    • TBH, these are the kind of players that get weeded out of professional sports pretty quickly. Also, CMC is not that guy. There is zero indication that he isn't competitive.
    • I like the free agency. It actually helps basically all schools across the board. Pretty much only ancient HC's and/or HC's that haven't been able to adjust have been complaining about the free agency. Your fortunes can be made or broken every offseason. It's not like before where a bad recruiting class or two meant multiyear purgatory.  I will never understand all the bellyaching about the NIL. If you want to talk about what ruined college athletics, it has been naked greed. Conference expansions for TV revenue, ever skyrocketing AD and facilities costs and now the attempts to permanently ruin the postseasons(football and basketball).  All the kids did was get a very well deserved piece of a very, very, VERY broken pie.
