Rhule will reach for a QB for the draft, and use his struggles to get a year 4

1. Rhule will be on the hot seat, Brady will be the sacrificial lamb, maybe even the DC too if this defense continues to suck

2. Rhule will draft the 2nd rated QB, one that isn't ready to start

3. Rhule will throw the new QB to the wolves/poo o-line

4. New QB will suck

5. Rhule will then say "we just need one more season to get things right, this kid struggled but we'll turn it around" to Tepper and Tepper will buy it lol

A year from now when people are saying, "how did this happen", remember you heard it here first!!!!

One of the huge benefits of Cam coming back is to see if the staff can work with another QB. It's 0-3 regardless of the quality of the meat we sacrifice behind this Oline.

I don't know how Rhule earns a year 3 now. He would have to actually win meaningful games and we can't even win against very bad teams.

Let’s say this a possible strategy to get a 4th year. It could have worked if he and Fitterer hadn’t given away most of our 2022 draft capital. We have a #1, #4, and a #7 I think. If a top LT is available when we pick, I could see selecting him over a suspect/overhyped QB given our oline woes this season.

If we still had all 7 draft choices I’d feel a lot better about our chances to significantly improve the team. After our first round pick, we don’t pick again until the last day of the draft. There’s no guarantee free agents are going to want to come here in 2022. If the guys we picked this year to make a huge improvement next year we could be looking at more of the same ineptitude.

I don't want Rhule and company picking our next QB. They've already thrown enough resources down the drain on QBs who have failed spectacularly.

But yes, if he's retained I do expect either a 1st round QB or a huge splash trade for a QB. And that fuging terrifies me.

I just want Rhule and company gone at this point. Brady not being retained next year seems obvious, but what decent OC with other options is going to sign on to work for a coach who's seat will be as hot as any in the NFL next year?
