Panthers keeping Rhule next year

That's the most ironic part about this.  Fans were completely fine sucking for a year while we rebuilt the team.  But instead, Rhule went "win now" mode and traded away too many draft picks etc.  Now we're worse off than we were when he was hired.

Most fans are okay with losing for a season if there is progress and something to hope for.  But this staff is 100% hopeless.

Bingo. Rhule and company SAID one thing, but they DID another. Everything they did indicated they felt they could make a quick turnaround. Now here we are stuck with a shitty staff, a shitty team, depleted draft capital to work with, and nowhere near the cap space we should've had.

Yeah, this should be all Dave Tepper needs to know to make a decision.

Matt Rhule is destroying the future of this team before our very eyes with his bad decisions.

There are way too many entertainment choices out there to waste another Sunday afternoon watching a team incapable/unwilling to address its biggest impediment to winning, Matt Rhule.

This report was discussed earlier this week and I ain’t buying it.

-Rhule is going to finish with a 7 game losing streak

-Not a home win since September

-a worse win percentage in year 2

-and a steady trend of his teams getting worse each season as it goes along

- and no culture, direction and hope that is apparent to anyone

There literally is no reason to be presented to keep him

Im going to gett poo'd here... but I am open to seeing what a third season looks like. Now 4-5 games in though, if we look like buns... pull the cord.

An offseason dedicated to building the o-line (see Chiefs/Bucs/Raiders/Chargers over the last 4 years in single offseasons) could allow us to see a completely different team.

If you can't run the ball, then you pass, if you can't pass the ball, you run. We couldnt block for either.

You asked for it.

Tepper isn’t going to fire Rhule 4 games into a season, we will be stuck with him for most if not the entire thing.

What makes you think Rhule can fix our o-line when he couldn’t wait one day to sign Erving and Elflein and refused to play Brady even though he showed he’s better than any other option we have?

Those two just have just been bad all year

You must have a lot of life to waste

3 years is a lifetime on the Nfl

    • Do you see the vision?  As of now our Carolina Panthers don’t have an identity. We are not an offensive powerhouse and on defense we only started getting it together towards the end of the year last year. In my opinion we are much closer to having an incredible defense that scares the daylights out of people. I say the answer is simple and we fully commit to that possible identity.    Emmanuel McNeil Warren (E man)  This guy is like a shark lurking around ready to attack anyone. Fearless. He is easily a top 20 talent in my eyes, and the only reason he isn’t more talked about is because he’s from Toledo. Do your due diligence as panther fans and watch his tape I beg you. Once you’re done watching let me ask you this, if you dropped E - Man into the strong safety spot on the Buckeyes, he isn’t being talked about as one of the best prospects we’ve seen in some time given the skill set you see with this guy? I think so. Put his name on the card and turn it in at 19.    Jacob Rodriguez  High effort, High energy, High IQ guy that flies around the field. We all know Jacob at this point. My only concern is he’s a little bit too good and I’m not sure he makes it to us at our pick in the second. With the additions of Jacob and E- Man I think our defense goes to top 5 in the league. We would have a duo of linebackers that rival anything we’ve had in our past. I’m not a GM so I don’t know what the possible answer could be, but if there’s a way we can comfortably trade up in the second to secure this guy I think we find a way to do it.    Spend the rest of our picks fixing the O - line.    Thoughts Panthers fans? Who’s the ideal duo for yall?
    • OL is arguably much more important to the success of a young QB. (Or any QB)
    • Didn’t get around to watching this one but looks like Pistons played their starters and actually tried…? Unlucky that they sit vs Magic, etc and try vs us. Hopefully we can beat the Heat and then Magic or 6ers with no Embiid. BUT if not, the NBA really should give us the lottery win this year like they did Mavs last year. Another high pick could be our final missing piece and have us as legit top contenders next year and going forward if we’re healthy. Or trade it for a Giannis type
