This better be a real search, not some dial rando numbers....... giveup and name Nixon the OC.

Gonna be difficult having a "real" search for a job that no one wants. Anyone can see the writing on the wall, this is a lame duck job. Whoever does take it shouldn't even bother with signing a lease, just get a hotel in uptown for a few months because it won't last long.

2) I dunno what current OC or former head coach will sign up to be an OC in a lame duck season

This. No QB, no O line, no CMC, and a HC on borrowed time.

No one good will take that situation.

Tepper will have taken a mediocre NFL franchise that enjoyed occasional brushes with greatness and made it a total doormat and laughing stock. Maybe I'll tune back in for the next reset. Maybe not.

Yeah, I have to agree. I may just give up altogether stop watching football. I was a Redskin fan until 1995, I don’t think I can go back to that mess either. Snyder is just as big of a douche as Tepper is.

How JR was forced to sell and Snyder is still hanging on strong baffles me.

Forgive me, Im high on hope.

Tepper can make up for ANY issues with his purse. AND he needs to that after he choose Rhule to wheel this ship.

Plus look of it like this- Youre looking to be NFL coach, but the league doesnt feel you are ready. *SO coming to the panthers may give you a *free* audition when Rhule is fired week 10....... no other Baylor coach would be the interim coach.....So if you do well, tepper may hire you full-time......I hope

    • Completely agreed.  TBH, we have had so many great players that are in my favorite list, and I hate to narrow it down to one, but Cam is it.  Which is crazy, because you would think it would be more of the guys I grew up watching, but no.  Cam was the single most impactful player to ever out on a football uniform imo.  And like I said in an earlier post, I always felt a kinship with him in a lot of ways…  the way he was treated and judged for the off the field stuff in Florida and having to overcome all of that and fight show at back.  And although I am not a black man, I have always been welcomed by and accepted more by minorities, and thus, I know what it’s like to be judged by appearances rather than the content of your character and who you actually are.  I know what it’s like to be stereotyped and written off or mistreated for your mistakes.  I know what it’s like to be held to a different standard while your peers don’t have to meet that same standard.  So I always related to that.  And the way he came in and just electrified the whole franchise, man…  I still think about it often how much it sucks that because of how talented he was, our staff out so much on him and that ultimately cut his career short.  You’re right, there will never be another Cam…  I think Josh Allen is the closest thing we will see for a long time, but Allen is not the running threat Cam was.  Cam could run you over or around you.  That was THE absolute funnest time to watch our team ever.
    • It definitely needs more specificity than is baked in now.
    • The weirdest encounter I had with a pro athlete was waiting in line at security at Mile High Stadium when I used to get the company suite tickets almost every week because I was the only employee based in Colorado. There's a small checkpoint accessing the suites that virtually no one knows about that you can usually squirt right through. I was standing there and looked over my shoulder and there stands John fuging Elway waiting in line behind me.  This was during the The Golden Calf of Bristol season right before he became GM. I just said "They make YOU go through security?" He's like "Yeah, ain't that a bitch. I literally have a statue out front and I gotta go through security like everybody else." I've heard mixed things about him but he was super nice and down to earth with me that day.
