yup. Also Eli was just collecting a pay check here and quit on the field when playing for us. Eli Apple has been a constant headache for teams in the league. The bengals would still be in the super bowl with any other CB.

Ron Rivera would have ripped into Eli even worse if I had to guess.

Apple is a defensive back who gets beat a lot. He has bounced around from the Giants, New Orleans, Panthers, and Cincinnati all since he was drafted in 2016. Rhule has his issues, but he is not always at fault.

Yeah.  All these articles about Rhule have been “anonymous sources.”  Yet most of our players have come out on record in defense of Rhule.  Something doesn’t add up.

Uh, what do you expect them to do? They are under contract, it would be professional suicide if they talked about their current coach.

Eli Apple sucks but he's a helluva lot better of a CB than Rhule is a coach.

Tepper should've fired his ass and told him he'll never coach in the NFL again. That one would've been pretty safe.

fhule is to nfl coaching what tepper is to nfl ownership... 💩

To his credit, he did make the initial contact on that huge play before halftime where Tyreek was stopped short of the goal line.  They probably don’t win the game if Tyreek scores there.  But yeah, he’s without a doubt a replacement level CB.  That was a great play, though

Seriously, what makes him think he's even qualified to make a statement like that?

Between this and the whole "I could leave for a college job and more money if I wanted" thing, I get the definite impression Rhule thinks he's a big deal.

In reality, he's just a small man who's full of sh-t.

I think we have gotten our very first horrible coach. He's going to destroy this organization and set us back 7 years.

Man he sounds like a real dick behind the scenes. Starting to think the team basically quit on him shortly after that Cardinals game. Probably got all cocky around that time

You would think if he was that at least one player would’ve said something about it. All I have heard them say is how they love playing for him.

It's hard for me to believe a coach would say that to a player at this level.  I dislike Rhule as much as the rest of you but this is hard for me to believe.  Even if it is Eli Apple he's talking about.

I can belive it. The way Rhuke talks to grown men makes it believable. His tendancy to put both feet in his mouth when he should say less also makes it beliveable. Dude got up in front of camera and said an all pro rookie LT wasn't draftable at 8 due to being an OG. Yeah it kind of fits.

It said source and Quick has been doing good work. As far as credibility I would have give it to her over Mr. 5 year plan who constsntly lies and says very questionable things way too often. The guy told his grown ass players he could get a school job anytime he wants. It's just too belivable.
