What banner week for the NFL, watson got the highest guaranteed traded for giant pile of picks and now Hill got a huge contract traded for giant pill of picks.

Id dont want to see ONE, not ONE social virtual single about women from the NFL after the league pulled this. Total joke clown world is the real world. This is on par with china and NBA, total joke.

No kidding. Over $100M guaranteed for an older more injured lately LT and a WR who appear to be coming out of college in droves.

KC will get a decent rookie WR in the first (could move up with pick 50 and the other 3) and save $141M over the next 5 years.

I've said again and again your team will think it has troubles if it doesn't have a star wide receiver, but there's no bigger trouble than your team's biggest star being a wide receiver.

They can suck the money out of a team and break team chemistry faster than anyone else and there's no way they can touch the ball enough times in a game to make up for the resources they consume.

Everyone in the West is stacking up and Chiefs are selling… what does Reid know that nobody else does.

He will collect picks and reload. Only bad teams hold on to over priced assets*CMC cough* CMC cough*

    • I enjoyed reading this thread and the usual banter that follows. The only silver lining I can identify right now is we do actually have a couple of young QB's behind him and we do have a nice roster on both sides of the ball built around the most important position. So if the team overall shows some promise but we still falter largely due to a lack of consistent passing output (again) hopefully the decision makers can be free to make the best decision for the team going forward after the conclusion of this upcoming season.
    • I don't really follow the team anymore due to a variety of reasons and consequently have largely stopped posting but I agree that this is a lovely website and community. This forum probably kept me around for years longer than I would've stuck otherwise because of how difficult it was to stop checking multiple times a day. Especially appreciate how lax the moderation tends to be compared to a lot of places, the crew here does a great job. Out of curiousity I decided to try making a new account (solely for testing purposes) to see what exactly is wrong with the sign up process. The issue seems to be that it never sends you an account verification email, thus making it impossible to complete registration. This is likely something to do with the email server upstream, hope it gets fixed. Also, lol
    • Uh oh, Nicole Tepper hugged him. In all seriousness though every time I see more about him my hopes get higher. Smart, great attitude, prototype size and measurables, and athletic. He could be a great one.
