Being Honest, Rhule isn’t the issue

Not having a Franchise QB is, Baker has been a disappointment and I think it’s clear at this point he’s not the huge upgrade over Darnold that we hoped he would be.

his performance in this game so far has been Pathetic. defense outside of the first game has been balling out. And the only thing on offense holding the offense back is QB. The other pieces are either there or will be there eventually the season(oline).

with all that said I was never a fan of Rhule, and still I’m not. I do think he has a large part of the blame on some issues but expecting to Fire a coach and things magically get better without a Franchise QB  is silly.

TLDR: regardless of who our coach is, until we find a franchise QB we will suck.

The Browns and Seahawks say hi.

Good coaches could do a lot more with Baker than Rhule is doing.

That would be a good argument if Baker and the Browns didn’t make the playoffs. Better coaches can get better results… even out of below average players… that’s why Brissett and Daniel Jones beat us. Stefanski and Daboll got more out of their average players than Rhule gets out here of his.

In reality we have a college football recruiter coaching an NFL team.

    • Watching games this year again and Bryce missed a wide open XL many times and some of them were in the endzone. I get the kid has mental lapses and hasn't broke out yet, but this is year three on a rookie deal! Cutting bait now is too early. If he hasn't gained anymore trust from his QB, posted any highlights, little production, or outright gets beat out then we can talk movement.
    • Samesies   I truly may just cash completely out of Panther football if we give him a long term deal that isnt necessary.  I have watched NFL for 50 years now and I can without a shadow of a doubt say you cannot win consistently with BY.  Way too many limitations to deal with.   I may come back around in 3 years when the inevitable happens and all parties are either cut and/or fired.  Giving him a deal before this season so you hopefully can get him cheaper in case he "blows up" or if you truly believe that he will has to be the most moronic decision a gm can make when the evidence is laid before you with different players
    • This is the one! I was at that game and all KB had to do was lay down on the corner after the pick or make an obvious tag while he was down. He had already ran a lazy route. Then if Cam would've just walked to the sideline like most elite QBs instead of trying to make the tackle.  A lot of people bring up the TJ Watt hit, but he just reaggravated a bunch of scar tissue from that play. And every Cam hater said that the running did him in and it was a dive tackle attempt on an interception that initially began the shoulder deterioration. He still went to New England later and would've got them in the playoffs had their A team not sat out the covid year. We quit on him too early. But hey how good was Teddy? Am I right?
