I will never forget those Evan's TDs. We would have won had we been smart, and that's not hindsight. I was screaming to watch out and get safety help over there.

Those 3 TD's likely play a huge role in him not getting retained. Failure to adjust and give Brady the same look is inexcusable.

I don't blame Wilks much for this given what he was left with on the corners.

He has called the game like pre-Riverboat Ron era; i.e. embarrassingly conservative to the point where it loses you games. There are other issues but it really comes down to the general mentality the team has had of playing not to lose. That's all on him.

I mean let's be honest, who DIDN'T see this coming? Y'all have been following the Panthers long enough to know how this one was going to turn out lol

And in true Panther fashion, we win just enough games to lose out on a top 3 pick, and lose just enough to miss the playoffs LMAO

Is that 3 or 4 losses with the Panthers trying to win on a final drive with Ekwonu going full fail with his pass blocking?

You mean a rookie LT who was raw at pass protection has some issues in the NFL on obvious passing downs? I don’t believe it! Impossible!

If I’m Horn, I’m asking for a massive contract. It’s clear that this defense is poo without him. He literally locks down half the field.

Yea, then they'll show him how much he is hurt.  Cannot pay someone top dollar for playing half the games.

    • Another thread where the Huddle melts down over a Bryce comment.  "Conversations" and "Bryce Young has been signed to a new long-term contract" are still far away from being the gospel.  For a fanbase that has watched two top-3 drafted QBs come here, and us move on, only to see them elevate their play elsewhere, I find it comical. Bryce is flawed but this org is damned if you do and damned if you don't with BY9.  Why would our GM and HC say anything other than supportive about their QB1. Yes, he's extended, but I truly do not think if he goes out and has a repeat of the previous seasons, that he is here beyond 2027. They're giving him every opportunity and surrounding him with a ridiculous amount of assets on both sides of the ball. If he continues to pitch 110 yd/ game and cough up the ball while everyone else is busting their ass, no way Dan keeps him beyond the extension.
    • Ooof, I was not a Proctor fan. I agree w/ a lot of smarter folks than me that he's more of a guard and think his weight fluctuation is going to be something to navigate. I liked Lomu a lot, but figured there would be more talented guys there at 19. I also wasn't big on bringing in a TE via the draft. If it's not a vet (Njoku) or a trade for Mayer or Kmet, I'd just as soon see what the youngsters have. No need cluttering the room with more of the same.
    • Sam Darnold & Bryce Young are two very different Qbs ..just saying the last 25 years approximately 2/3 of ALL  first round Qb's  in the NFL were or are bust.so for everyone who makes it like a Sam Darnold you have two that don't make it or are a bust
