Yeah, I've been in BK since 2011. Every year that the Panthers let me down, I'm tempted to look into the Giants but I've held strong so far. I left the Braves for the Yankees which was super easy (and of COURSE the Bravos won it all while my Bombers have not lol). But the Panthers would have to totally poo the bed for me to side with the G-Men.

The only thing that would make me 100% completely lose interest in the Panthers would be if they moved. Like what the Hornets did.

As far as what would make me quit, it'd have to be something bigger than football. Ricky mentioned the team embracing Deshaun Watson. That's the sort of thing.

Being bad at football is one thing. Being bad people is another.

I've been a Buffalo Bills fan since I was 8 yo and the team was created. I've been through it all and haven't quit despite moving to the Carolinas from Buffalo in 1976. 

No, nothing will have me quit the Panthers. Pulled for them since their creation (PSLs from beginning to 2019 when I was retired & couldn't afford season's tickets anymore); there's nothing like that feeling that you are part of the team from the beginning, watching them grow and with that comes joy and sorrow. Compared to watching your child grow, they just went through the I'm-never-showering-again teen years and I'm excited about what's next.

I've moved 3 times since the superbowl season, so haven't super followed the team and watched every game since. NC to Texas to NC to Illinois.  Kinda hard to find the games and I'm not dropping money for gamepass.

I second this. Haven’t lived in NC in 19 years but if they moved out of state I might would jump ship and just be a general fan with no affiliation.

The team has alot of leeway with me.  I would say if they hire Matt Patricia I would pack my Panthers bag and move out.  But anything short of that won't keep me from supporting the team.  I will just watch less of the games and put less emotional energy into the team if we make a bad hire and keep losing.

I really like our GM so I am hopeful for the future.

I'll always be a fan. However, Jake's meltdown back in the day turned me from a rabid Panthers fan into the calm almost casual fan I am today.

I could see myself drop one tier lower though, which probably means not watching every game and not even bothering to know who our starters are.
